We had a lovely meal before we went to the theatre couldn't fault it, also they accommodate for people who like light meals the dressing with the salad was superb ...

We came last night for my husbands birthday and had an absolutely fantastic time and meal. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food (chimichangas for me and steak for the husband) was an easy 10/10. I think people can be quite rude to people in the food service industry and make tiny mishaps out to be massive errors. This is our 3rd visit to chiquitos nottingham and everytime it has been faultless (unless you're the type of person who just likes to complain). Thanks chiquitos nottingham. We will be back. :)

Staff always spot on, great service, love the food. Best value kids meal around. We come back time & time again. Great value for money too with the Taste Card.

Received incredible service from Tanya on Sunday afternoon! Nothing was too much trouble and she was very friendly! The food was fantastic too!

Delicious tasty food even the chips were the best I’ve ever tasted! Our actress was lovely and efficient the restaurant itself was very comfortable would definitely recommend to friends and will be drining here again and again

The staff here are always so lovely with my two little girls. The rainbow drinks are also a fave! Food is good. Only negative yesterday was that we were left for quite a while at the end of the meal, I think our waitress had gone on her break so we had to wait a long time to pay. Thanks

Well looked after by our waitress when a large group , including children visited yesterday lunchtime. All meals were lovely. All staff were friendly and we had an enjoyable lunch. Only downside was the baked banana pudding which wasn't what I expected! Will return. Thanks.

Lovely food only down side is the food portions are not that great atall. Also some of the food portions are over priced. Wouldn’t recommend.

I visited this place last night and I was so disappointed. It’s not the first time I have been , I came here a few years back and loved it. Last night was awful, the staff were very miserable and the service was terrible. The food was ok I suppose but I think your staff need to brush up on their costumer service skills. It wasn’t busy at all and I can see why. Didn’t leave a tip and it’s very rare I don’t. Won’t be coming again just due to the fact I felt uncomfortable there like the staff couldnt be bothered to serve us

So we visited this restaurant after hearing such good things about them, only to be bitterly disappointed! Our starters came along with my little boys food, the sour cream served with the chicken wings was absolutely disgraceful! Watered down to the consistency of milk with lumps in! When we asked if we could have some fresh, we were told that was the last of it however I was given more "milk" with my main! The chicken poppers on my little boys dinner were clearly microwaved, not fresh, they were dry and as hard as bullets! Now my little boy was born with a rare birth defect and struggles with food at the best of times but I was not prepared to even let him attempt to eat them! I asked for a pulled pork wrap, and was given chicken so then had to wait for a fresh to be made! There was no seasoning on any of the food apart from the garlic bread which contained that much salt, we needed to order more drinks! Kudos there! The bbq pulled pork wrap was flavourless, and had no sign of BBQ anywhere and the same went for my friends sweet chilli chicken wrap! The best part of our meal was the sweet jalapeño jelly and in all honesty we won't be returning! I haven't even got to trip advisor yet!!! Disgusting the fact that the staff there didn't seem to care either, we were not offered even an apology! Seriously, we could have spent less money on better quality food in a pub somewhere!

Normally go to chiquitos after going to a show and the food is fantastic. However today we went in and were seated and ignored for a good 25 minutes before deciding to look elsewhere. Being kind to the staff there was only 2 servers on the floor, but on the other hand we are now sat in tgi fridays and been served drinks and food orders taken. Straightaway our server came along and told us he'd be along to take our orders. The staff at chiquitos looked far more interested in making drinks behind the bar.

Myself and my brother attempted to get served this evening. We both stood at the bar for 25 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us, but they didn’t. Eventually after being ignored by a staff, we got seated by a waiter. He handed us menus, didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks or anything, just walked away. Nobody returned after a further 30 minutes to take our order, resulting in us walking out.



I have never experienced customer service, this poor. Not one person in this place seems to care. I would not recommend and I will not be returning after the poor experience we had tonight.

Just left the place got in there at 1 o clock only 4 tables and us two 2:15 later still waiting for main course Which was two wraps with chips had starters at 1:15, the waitress forgot a drink and waited 20mins for that then she tells us well it's because big tables have come and want all starters oh great! we say we would like to leave and cancel the order which the manager only says oh ok well sorry we still have to pay full price for drinks and starters no discount or nothing! Was ridiculous!

Having been to Chiquito's Nottingham on several occasions prior to going to the theatre we arrived last night just before 6pm our show started at 7.30pm. We informed our server we were going to the theatre and told her the start time. The restaurant was very quiet we ordered drinks and our meals. At 7.10pm we had been served our drinks and one portion of nacho's. We asked repeatedly when the meal would arrive and kept being told "it was on its way". at 7.15pm we cancelled the order as we would not have time to eat even if we were served then. We had all been at work and had not eaten since lunchtime when we left we were charged over £16 for three drinks. Such poor service even though we had informed them prior to placing the order we were on a time schedule it made for a very poor start to our evening out. :(

First time at a Chiquito and most definitely the last!!! Waited more than 15 mins for our drinks and an hour for our food!!

Table service very, very poor.

Also shocked that the waitress did not bring me a receipt, I had to go up and ask for it only to find she had screwed it up and thrown it �
