Thank you for rescuing us last night before the match. Having been let down badly by the Harvester you very kindly fitted us in even though you were very busy. The service & food were both excellent, we’ll definitely be back.

My 8 year old as his birthday lunch out. The waiter who attended us was so friendly, welcoming and gave fantastic service. The food was very tasty and we cleaned up every plate! There was a slight hiccup with the desserts in that the kids came out before mine and I ended up waiting 35 mins for mine. However, when I was about to leave they brought them out along with a special treat for my son and the manageress came over to speak to me personally. I will absolutely go again because everywhere gets something wrong sometimes, but they handled it very well

Despite all the Awful reviews on here me and my family visited here on the 12th July and the food was lovely although my daughter found a hair in her food, apart from that everything was lovely, the staff were lovely, very efficient, disabled toilet was spotless, would certainly visit again very soon x

Always great food and service is normally good but waitress apologetic for being slow, but we will still be back!

£4.99 for a bottle of Doombar beer and a large glass of Pino Grigio = over £13. Outrageous

There was a party of around 15 of us for my birthday and it was just terrible. Food was average (if that) barely any meat in most main courses and prices of up to £15 per main and barely any food on the plate. On top of this. The service was extremely poor. Staff did not make customers aware of car park registration and 2 members of the party received Parking fines ... A professional establishment would inform their customers or offer a polite reminder. I will not be eating here again.

Visited for my birthday this evening and it’s safe to say it was ruined. A formal complaint will be going to head office.

Food was wrong on every occasion, and staff were rude and disinterested.

Steak was massively over cooked, tough and fatty. All the other food was soggy and disgusting. Presented a vegetarian guest with chicken and were reluctant to replace it.

Tried to complain to management and they were extremely rude; one man basically told us to go away.

The lady dealing with our complaint was so very rude about it, I heard her storm in to the kitchen and huff loudly. She could only tell us how bad she felt, well I don’t really care how bad she feels - we were treated appallingly.

I don’t want their vouchers or free food, either. They should be ashamed of themselves and should retire from the service industry until they can learn how to speak to people.

Today I received confirmation from Chiquito's parking enforcement company, confirming that they indeed intend to charge me £100 for using their car park while we spent money at their restaurant. Court proceedings will ensue if I don't hand over the £100 fee. Needless to say I have no intention of paying this.

So attending Chiquito's automatically ensures criminalisation of its patrons if you don't read ALL the small print on the fairly insignificant parking sign at the entrance or assume the computer equipment in the restaurant is for staff use and hadn't realised it is a requirement to enter your registration details, or like me you didn't see it, or its importance was not highlighted by a staff member.

Here is a picture of the sign at the entrance, it has a car park symbol and states that it is for patrons only. Well if you happened to see the sign you may have assumed that ticked all the boxes but read the (very) small print!

Watch this space, it's going to get interesting.

In the mean time I would suggest a complete boycott of this despicable company, avoid these restaurant chains that think they can exercise draconian powers and still hold onto customers. They can't have it both ways!

Terrible service had to ask for one of the main meals to be brought out had to constantly ask for drinks at no point did the waiter ask if we wanted drinks or if everything was okay asked for a mango smoothie got a strawberry smoothie at the pint of payment an additional two meals had been added to the bill and then after that a 10% service charge was added without any warning and was only taken off after we asked for it off will not be coming back food was overpriced and service shocking

Silly me to expect a chain restaurant to answer their phone when it rings. Was hoping to make a takeaway order, and instead sat with a ringing phone for 40 minutes instead. Funny how this is during the period of an offer to do with phone up takeaway deals giving you £15 off... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Used to come here a lot but the service has been slipping. Definitely won't be coming back now.

I’m still sat at the table.... nearly 3 hours after arriving.

Waited an hour for starter - ok they said it may be a 40 min wait. So dealt with that, an hour isn’t end of the world.

But finished the starters... 15 min later plates cleared. An hour later no mains. Asked where they were to be told they were being plated up. 20 min later still nothing. Asked again, and 5 min later they arrived. 3 out of four were cold. And I mean stone cold inside. And dry and anything.

One person of the party ate the meal. After finishing lady came out and asked if we wanted pudding. We declined... 20 min later still sat looking at an empty plate.

Customer service absolutely appalling. Rude and uninterested staff.

And to top it off we have sat and watched at least 4 tables of our size or bigger, come in after us, eat meals and drinks, and then leave.

Staff too busy chatting or wiping tables and ignoring us.

I am gluten intolerant and so rely heavily on being given a gluten free meal when I order one. My dinner arrived with onion rings much to my delight (you rarely get gluten free onion rings) and so I checked with the waitress if they were gluten free. She asked the chef and he literally shrugged and said "I dunno". I removed the onion rings and ate my dinner due to being very hungry however my plate had been glutened and I therefore ran the risk of becoming poorly. I asked the waitress to complain to the manager for me. The manager sent the waitress back saying she passes on her apologies. No personal comment, no personal discussion on the seriousness of what happened. If I had eaten the onion rings I would have been extremely poorly. I would not return and anyone with celiac I would say stay away!

Be careful in the car park. My son went for his birthday and entered his details into the parking machine as normal and is now being chased for a parking fine by a car park company. Called the restaurant who aren’t interested. We will be going somewhere else in future. Customer service at its best.

A message to the manager.. when training your staff in hospitality. You might actually want to apologise sincerely, first off, when someone brings to your attention that the meal they payed for arrived cold; Not, moan that the complaint wasn't delivered sooner... and also express your grievance that you'll have to walk 10 yards to get the manager to authorise a poxy 20 percent discount from the till.

You might be a chain restaurant, but that doesn't mean that you have to have an half arsed and careless attitude - when you take peoples money.
