Visited here today for Father's Day with my Mum and Dad. Not been here for years because last time we came years ago it wasn't very good. The place has changed for the better, the restaurant is lovely inside, the food was beautiful and I've never been served by a nicer member of staff in any dining experience. The member of staff who served us today was so friendly, the service and the food speaks for itself really. Would definitely come back!

I would like to leave feedback for your derby restaurant that I visited on Sunday 1st March.

Upon arriving, we were greeted in a friendly manner by a man at the end of the bar who was making cocktails. He arranged for us to be seated in the restaurant.

The restaurant was at near capacity, which shows it is popular, as we are not from the area, this was a good sign for us.

We were served by Shaz, who was attentive but not intrusive. However, he was quite quiet, and hard to hear at times!

I had the southern fried chicken and pulled pork whilst my partner had the chicken and chorizo skewers. The food was to a high standard and came out in good time. The food was brought to our table by a blonde girl who was also very polite.

The restaurant was clean, with the service and quality of food also to a pleasant standard.

This was our first visit to your chain, and it was a splendid visit at that! We would most certainly return. Sometimes I feel that feedback might not reach the restaurant concerned, but I hope this does as you now have a new customer! Regards Simon Jackson

All 3 courses were absolutely delicious and well presented. Waiter was enthusiastic and polite. Restaurant was clean and generally well presented. Cocktails were fantastic. Would definitely visit again.

Everything perfect except music...I would like mexican/spanish music in mexican restaurant

We popped in on the off chance after work. Staff gave good service very fast and efficient. The food is average these days unlike years ago when Chiquitos first opened at the Meridian complex.

My chimichanga tasted pleasant but it wasn’t very warm. I assume they are chilled or frozen and warmed to order with being a chain restaurant.

All I can say is we were told to give before we went but when we got their it was 65 min before we had our meal and then they charged me the wrong price for my drink

We have eaten here previously but things appear to have changed for the worse.

Went there on Wed 24th May around 7pm as a family for my daughters 19th birthday. For a weekday it was fairly busy but there appeared to be only one waiter taking orders and serving.

We ordered drinks and starters (Nachos sharing platter) which seemed to be missing the cheese but never mind as in a great mood due to daughters birthday we let it ride.

Mains eventually came and I tucked into my King Prawn and Chorizo skewer. A few mouthfuls in to my horror and disgust I had to pull a longish hair out from my mouth!!!

Called waiter who offered a replacement but I had lost my appetite.

He advised he would let his supervisor know what has occurred.

My family continued to eat and to further fuel my anger my hair laden main was left in front of me for a good 15 mins and was only cleared away after all had finished their mains.

No sign of any supervisor or manager.

We passed on desserts and after some conversations with supervisor via this poor waiter who was being run ragged they agreed to take cost of my main plus one of my two beers off the bill.

Now I know there will be many of you shouting at your screens about what I should have done, walk out, refuse to pay etc etc but it was my daughters birthday and I just did not want to spoil it.

Used to love this place, had 2 consecutive experiences now tho. First time we waited over an hour for our starter and when we queried it was told that the printer had run out of paper and our order had been missed! Second time the nachos were extremely overcooked and dripping with grease, so were the onion rings. The chips were over cooked and my flat bread was so cold and over cooked it was like eating cardboard!

Really disappointed. They have a lunchtime offer on where if you wait more than 15 minutes for a sandwich then you get it for free. We had 2 sandwiches that we waited for for 30 minutes and they didn't honour this! Shouldn't advertise this if they won't honour.

When you have corn tortillas, guacamole, pico de gallo, refried beans, mexican rice or something that actually it's from Mexico then you can say it's a Mexican restaurant otherwise you should change the name of that place

We sat outside, starters arrived promptly but with no cutlery. An hour later the main course arrived still without cutlery, to the point that I had to go in and ask....after waiting a further 10 minutes/...nothing or no separate plate to make the fajitas! Never again, only apologies and a free drink compared to spending £45 and husband didnt eat main course due to no cutlery and no plate!! NEVER AGAIN!!

You guessed it the doors are locked whilst you have a refurbishment!!

Very very disappointed to travel with an excited little boy and no lucky � greeted us�

Massively disappointed food was over priced for small portions, I ordered an adults enchilada and a young adults enchilada and they came out the same size, yet the young adults came with a side of rice but was priced at £5 cheaper!!! 2 meals came out 5 minutes before the rest of the table. We had to ask 3 waiters for ketchup for my daughters meal, which took over 10 minutes to come out and when we ordered drinks when the meal was being brough out, the drinks finally reached the table when we had finished

It was a place to look forward to but 3 consecutive visits proved a downward spiral until being convinced that it is poor value, a disappointing experience and so far from being Mexican as possible, bland, small portions, expensive drinks and tired service

Don't go to Leicester 45 mins to get a table despite told 30 max and then 45 min to get 6 tiny tapas and a garlic bread as one course! God knows how long it will take to get the bill !!!! Already offered 25% off the food for table delays but tbh they were lucky as had the food not been here when I got back from the loo we'd have walked! Diabolical
