Located at Nottingham Airport, Chocks Away is a great place to visit for anyone from plane enthusiasts to families wanting a bite to eat. Surrounded by the exciting world of aviation, with a runway view area, indoor and outdoor seating Chocks Away is the perfect location for a great lunch out any day of the week.

It’s Fathers Day tomorrow!! Bring dad down to Chocks Away! and treat him to the best breakfast around! Our Hercules breakfast has 3 slices of bacon, 3 sausages, 3 eggs, hash browns, black pudding, mushrooms, beans , tomatoes , 3 slices of toast and a bottomless tea or instant coffee to wash it down!! A perfect start to a perfect Sunday!

We'd been recommended to visit you and were not disappointed! Big yellow helicopter taking off, gyrocopter taking off and landing, loads of little planes, pilots with uniforms, refuelling stops ..... and a very enjoyable child-friendly lunch too. Thank you to the young, smiling and extremely hard-working cafe staff. :-)
We love this cafe so much that we even held our wedding reception there. Friendly staff , friendly owner joined with great food and good views of the aircraft. What more could you ask for.

Popped in this afternoon for a bite to eat and to watch the planes. Lovely staff. Great value for money. Watching the planes and helicopter come and go was lovely for the kids to see. Will definitely be back asap ÔøΩ
Popped in for a quick lunch today, which was as good as ever - something for everyone, value for money and friendly service. To top it off the Air Ambulance dropped in and gave us a tour! Looking forward to our next visit already.

There were 6 of us, 3 vegans, 1 gluten and dairy free, and 2 who could eat anything.
It was no problem, all dietary needs were met and the food and service were excellent. We were even able to order a dairy free milkshake which made one small girl very happy indeed!
Thank you, it’s not often we find places where we can all eat together. The children in the group were really happy as they had space to play, and the adults could relax over breakfast.

Had a lovely morning having a cup of coffee watching the planes set off and land my little boy loved it staff very friendly food was nice too.
Good selection of food and drinks with lots of small aircraft movements for my son to watch.
Good food, unique location and very accommodating to children and families, the 1 year old loved the food as well, good trek to get there by foot but worth it without a doubt

Amazing visit last Sunday. Great vegan menu and quick helpful response from the owner about allergies. All of us loved our breakfasts, staff were super friendly and the little kids area was brill. Thanks!
A great find! Such a lovely place for a family lunch. The play area was a big hit with our little one. Great value food and friendly service too - we'll be back!
4 of us went on thursday and had breakfast,it was lovely and a nice place to sit out side,and they do so lush homemade cakes,we will be back
Love his place. I often cone here with my god daughter and grandson. We love seeing the aeroplanes taking off and landing and enjoy the freshly cooked food and cakes in the cafe.
I visited today, and we didn't get off to a great start! I couldn't fit my side by side double buggy through any doors!! I had to leave it outside, whilst I went in to enquire about any other access routes. The only thing we could do was lift the buggy over a small fence, over wet grass and up 2 stairs, and leave it below a window (in the drizzly rain) so I could keep an eye! My twin boys were asleep so taking them out to collapse the buggy was not an option. My buggy was a britax b agile, so not the narrowest, but the doors were really narrow.
Once in, the service was friendly, food looked good, just a shame we didn't see a single plane!!
Took an hour and a half for food to arrive - just not acceptable when you have a small child with you. Child very tired and hungry and cross by the time it arrived. Food itself was good. Won't be coming here again.
