We are having a Family Christmas party on the 16 December 2018. £13.95 per adult and £10.95 per child. Traditional 2 Course Christmas Dinner. Mulled wine and mince pie on arrival. Festive décor with a gift from Santa to all Children. Starting from 5pm until 8pm. Tickets are now on Sale.

Went there over the holidays whilst visiting the river gardens lovely ppl brilliant play centre that my daughter loved and lovely food..will definatley go again thankyou xx

We travel from chesterfield to come to chuckle butties, our children aged 2 and 5 love this play area and have loads of fun every time we come. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The food is spot on and really good for the money. Chuckle butties is based in beautiful surroundings, we always enjoy a walk through the river gardens after visiting. Thank you for making every time enjoyable for the children and ourselves.. it’s one of the most comfortable and clean play areas we have been to, to relax and enjoy a hot drink when the children are playing. The tables and floor are kept to a highly clean standard and through observation the tables are cleared and cleaned very efficiently, the floor is kept clean as the staff use hand held hoovers straight away to clear up any crumbs/food off the floor. Definitely worth travelling. Thank you! �

We absolutely love this place!! We travel from Derby to play here as it is by far our favourite soft play area.



The staff are always so friendly and helpful.



It's also so clean compared to other local soft play areas. The staff are constantly clearing and cleaning. They even have handheld hoovers to clear up crumbs.



It's lovely being able to relax and enjoy the view of the river with a lovely hot drink (they make a fantastic mocha, with cream and marshmallows) while my little girl has fun playing on the play area. Better still, the layout means I can keep an eye on my daughter from my seat as the whole play area can be seen from the seating area.

Thank you Darren and the team for such a fabulous birthday party for Louis today. You have been brilliant and friendly in helping me organise the party to ensure Louis and his friends had such a fantastic time! Everything was catered for from drinks constantly to hand,to any special dietary requirements needed with understanding and nothing being too much trouble. One of the better play centres ....

it wasn’t that busy but it was clean, tidy and helpful staff... makes a pleasant change �...

excellent play areas that are also clean and the staff are on the ball with the safety. Will definitely be back... it is cold as a parent just sat or supervising so I’ll remember an extra layer but fine for the kids running around (it was zero degrees and snowing �). Thank you we will be back � xx

I've taken my son to numerous birthday parties at various play centres over the last few months, by far the best of the bunch has been the one at Chucklebutties. The place itself is top notch, as you probably already know, but what made them stand out is the fact that they seem to care about making the party special for the children involved. Some of the other places just seem to go through the motions, Treetops (Riddings) in particular was very impersonal. Top marks to Chucklebutties for adding the personal touch, it goes a long way when you want your child to have a fantastic time and really remember these special occasions!

I love talking my daughter to chucklebutties its her favourite place to go its always clean and the staff are really lovely and make you feel welcome. I highly rate this place and will always come back and my daughter has a card because we love it so much.

I have taken my son to Chucklebutties a few times now and he loves it.

Today he had a little accident bless him. He was running from the toilet back to the soft play when he fell and bit his lip. The manager was brilliant and applied ice to take the swelling down, he really calmed us both down.

Thank you very much again he’s absolutely fine now and fighting fit.

I would strongly recommend you take your little ones for a play.

I can't understand why anyone would give this place a negative review. On our last visit here we thought everything was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Staff constantly cleaning, keeps the play centre and table areas spotless! I was very happy when bigger kids came in the baby area and staff instantly explained the policy to the parents who soon got the big children out. Which means my youngest was kept safe. What's the point in having a baby area if the elder children can play in there too? The main play frame is spread wide across the room, making it very easy to keep an eye on the bigger children. The height restrictions makes it a safe place for everyone. If taller children were aloud in, I wouldn't be happy leaving my children to play alone. See you next time Chucklebutties.

Had a lovely visit here with my little boy, with a good friend and her baby too. We had a play, had some food then had another play. My little one was worn out after all the fun playing and exploring. Lovely service and great under twos area! We’ll be back

Great that there is a gate on under 24 month area and it clearly states no older children. I had lunch and it was very well presented and tasted delicious and home cooked. Will definitely be going back.

Great play centre, I travelled an hour (25 miles) to attend this play centre on Sunday with a friend and our two daughters.

It was busy and that’s always good to see!

We were greeted nicely and welcomed in, sadly we were unable to use our kids pack lunches which did make me slightly anxious to start with as my child has a severe egg allergy however once inside and viewing the menu I quickly realised that egg allergies were certainly catered for which was awesome.

The younger area as my child is not yet 1 was good and a lot of toys and equipment in there accessible , I would of liked to see more in the sensory area at the top however this isn’t a bad point as it was still great up there.

Overall fab day out for us and the food was nice.

Will certainly return thank you for making our day great and for making us so welcome!

1st time visiting today. My girl is under 24 months so we stayed in the baby part and she loved it. Nice to see a pastel coloured ball pool. The sensory bit was lovely too and the added small toys in there kept her entertained. We spent longer here than in any other play centre we've been too. Food was really nice and made fresh to order so even though you wait a bit longer for the food it's not been pre made and re heated so worth the wait. Overall we really enjoyed it and will be back again. Thanks.

Very good baby area. My daughter loved it! The place is very clean and well kept, staff are pleasant and friendly. We will be back regularly! Also the baby sensory area is a nice touch for the younger ones.



The food is great quality, but drinks are a bit pricey.

Wish we had known before we got there about the height restriction, after travelling a fair distance to get there and having promised our younger two that we would visit, only to arrive and find our eldest wasn't allowed in the play area, thankfully he didnt mind sitting and watching, but it meant we didnt stay as long as planned, was a nice play area though and staff were very friendly

took my 6 and 1 year old today, got told of about how much mess my 1 year old was making while eating he sandwiches! would be better if you had trays for the highchairs! so not as much would go on the floor! and also hoovering around us while we are still eating! i understand it needs to be clean but at least wait until people have finished eating! lovely play area shame about the staff.

We have taken our little ones couple times but after last visit seeing how dirty the place is it made me feel sick! There is mold at the end behind the last bench by the window. The thickness of dust layer on all the play tops is so terribly bad that I don't know how nobody has reported this! In between the claiming and playing places there are some play balls from ball pit that have dust growing on top and nobody clearly cares... Scary really. Bathrooms are dirty and have dust everywhere. Not really great for place were you take your children to.

Never been to a play centre with so many rules ,how do parents watch a baby and child over 24 months at the same time if they are not allowed in the toddler section ,and to small for the other side on there own, especially when the child is only a few days over 24months ,we have been to lots of other play centres that are much better than this .
