It feels a bit like we've 'hit the wall' - the chippies have been working really hard, oak flooring is laid, stairs fitted, doors, skirting & architraves nearly all done. Some kitchen cupboards are installed, and log burners are installed. From the warmest of welcomes to Julia's lovely home - to the delicious selection of homemade fare presented so beautifully on vintage China - it was a truly delightful occasion. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

Has to be tasted to be believed, easily the most delicious selection of savoury and sweet treats I've ever had in an afternoon tea. With 14 items per person, all freshly baked and some still warm from the oven. We savoured the tea all afternoon and left a good 2 hours after we'd been served and welcomed by our host AND new friend Julia.

From the moment we arrived until we left Julia us a fantastic host nothing is too much trouble. The savoury & sweet treats are just delicious 😀

From the moment she greeted us until the moment we left, Julia was a perfect host. Her attention to detail and undoubtable baking skills made this the best afternoon tea I've ever sampled. The surroundings were delightful with our host's eclectic tastes and crafting skills only enhancing the experience. I hope to find an excuse to do this again soon!
