It is with regret that Cliffords, after 72 years of trading, are closing our doors. We have been forced twice before to move due to redevelopment , but as business has changed dramatically, especially in the last 10 years due to the internet, bringing our operational margins down in order to compete. We have no extra funds available for the expensive costs of moving and setting up the now required infrastructure & technology for a modern business . Also some of us are well ...over retirement age so now is the time to make the break. We would like to thank our long standing ,loyal and new customers for their support over the years. We now serve the grand children of some of our old customers! Last day of trading Saturday March 3rd. Thank you all for you support.
