Further to the post earlier today about championships - we can now clarify that the TDCI had not received complaints about our festival and in fact have received many compliments and positive feedback over the years about the way our festival has been run.
Unfortunately they hadn’t been clear in this in their communication which led to the misunderstanding.
We hope this reassures all competitors particularly those that won as they were thoroughly deserved. Given TDCI have se...t the record straight and the amount of support we have received today we are hoping to run some championships next year but will confirm which ones and entry details in due course.

I do seem to have a number of ‘costume’ items and also a stereo, set of wooded steps which I assume are a prop, and numerous shoes, drinks bottles etc. If you would like to send out a message to the dance schools they can get in touch with me directly on 01530 265834.

Championships -- No one will be allowed in or out of the theatre during championships - until after adjudication .

I have been informed that someone was taking photographs during the Juvenile championships on Sunday. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED do not take photographs of any dancers , we have a professional photographer to do this . Mobile phones must be switched off whilst in theatre and must be off until after you leave the theatre
Someone also walked out of the theatre during the championships whilst a dancer was performing , PLEASE DO NOT do this its rude and unfair
