it was my first visit to copper mapperley it was very good the staff were really lovely and polite and the food was excellent my friend and i shared a fish platter and it really was good quality

Whether it's just for a drink, breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place never fails. The staff and service are wonderful hence why we always return to Copper.

We had our work Christmas staff night with you last night - Thursday 15th December. Wow! What a treat of a night you gave us on every level! The food was superb and excellent value. All of your staff were friendly, professional and so accommodating. A special mention to Geoff - your flexibility and service was outstanding. Thank you from all of us at Windmill. For lots of my colleagues, it was their first time visiting...I think you are going to be inundated with their return visits! Thank you again for a wonderful evening and a great start to Christmas. The kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze me. Thank you so much to Maxine and Sam for everything you did for my daughter this morning. You are true guardian angels and I hope that your kindness comes back to you in bucket loads xxx

Really enjoyed my family meal from the Christmas menu. The food was exceptional and very good value for money. All the staff were friendly and can not praise enough for the overall standard of food and service. Merry Christmas �

I met up with an old school friend here on Tuesday evening. We had a lovely evening catching up and enjoyed the ambiance. The food was delicious ( we had the goats cheese burger and lasagne) and the service was attentive but unobtrusive. I made contact after our visit as I had been concerned at being given two plastic straws in my tonic water. I was met with a positive response that this is currently under review so can only say good things about our experience.

Had a snack with a couple of drinks, I had the fish finger stack & my wife had the lamb wrap, both were very nice. The staff are lovely & very interactive, I really like the place.

Had a fantastic time here last Sunday evening. Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Singer was fab and so was our waiter, Martin. Could not believe that he was so new to the place, he seemed like he'd been there ages! Fantastic service. Will definitely go back for food and or just drinks.

Got the last table for 2 on Saturday and what a lovely evening, great service and lovely risotto, yes a little noisy but a great job especially considering how busy they were.

Absolutely brilliant new years do. Dec 2016/2017. We were too late booking last year so made sure to book early this year. Well worth it. Great food / brilliant atmosphere and music- best bit was a long conga out of copper into the old flower pot restaurant and back so funny. Many thanks to everyone at copper for giving us such a good night happy new year to you all.

Thought my brother and I would try the Tuesday special of steak and frites (chips)at £9.95 after our usual Tuesday cinemas visit,now if you add a side with this it’s then an extra £3 which then begins to take the edge off the special offer,but having said that it was really enjoyable and the steak was cooked just right ,my side was the flat mushrooms and again very nice,the thin chips although not my favourite where not to bad. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the service time was quite acceptable.

My only complaint would be that I don’t particularly want to see staff come through the restaurant with bucket and mop then place it it on the bar to add the cleaning fluid while people are still in the restaurant eating and drinking,this I’am afraid let you down this time otherwise I would have given you 5*.

Good food, polite and freindly staff but is a real noisy room if only two of you are out and need to talk and listen to each other.

First time me and friends went today we had breakfast wasnt disappointed all came out together and tasted lovely..would definitely recommend and come back to try out the other meals on the menu x

We ate outside it was lovely �The halloumi cheese salad was nice but I would have preferred the cheese sliced thinner and a little more charred. The rest of the group also enjoyed their food . Unfortunately there was a slight aroma of drains, a few scented plants may help to mask this
