Public swimming sessions are operated using session manager at peak times (colour wristbands are issued to help prevent queues giving customers 1 hour minimum in the pool). Please be aware that our leisure swims start at 10am at weekends (lane swimming for competent swimming is available from 9am in our 25m pool).

Your local team Corby Swimming Club have been training exceptionally hard and this has shown they were able to bring over 30 swimmers with them from 9-18 years old over this weekend. Head coach Tim Evans is very proud of all swimmers who took part and their achievements as an individual and a club, and we look forward to holding their Open Meet on 23rd and 24th March 2019.

As we come to an end of hosting the County Championships 2019 we would like to say a huge Thank you to everybody who turned up and took part we have had over 1000 attended showing their support for this event. All swimmers who have attended have represented their teams over 50 or more hours over two full weekends including early starts for warm ups and late evenings for the finals. Most clubs will train at least 5 days a week and maybe include land training or gym work alongside this to help prepare swimmers and ensure they are fit and ready.

Fantastic hosting of the Corby and Oundle schools swimming gala last week- and special thanks to whoever handed in a Fitbit that one of my pupils left in the changing rooms- thank you so much!

User

It's a shame you dint ban the person who was doing inappropriate things in front of my daughter and her friend's to the point she won't go swimming no more u need to monitor the place better than you do

User

Been to this pool today with our 3 children excited to try out somewhere new

The changing area smelt, there was not anywhere deep enough for the children to swim properly and the lifeguards were so busy talking that they didn’t even notice a well over the age of 10 larger boy going down the pirate slide! Not only that but he actually banged his head on his way down due to running to he slide and took him a few mins to sort him self out at the bottom of the slide! Clearly holding his head in pain! My husband called over to the lifeguard but she still didn’t notice !! No parents were watching ether! I thought this area was for smaller children clearly the staff need to be watching what is going on rather than chatting!

User

We went today and it was filthy! The changing rooms had rubbish over the floor and multiple people complaining about how much rubbish there was, it smelt and there were huge collections of hair in the showers. Of course the pool was cold- as it always it. Really disappointing that not more care is taken with what could be such a great facility.
