About Corby Mind

We aim to help local people to recover from mental distress by offering a safe environment with social, emotional and community support.

Corby Mind Description

Welcome to Corby Mind

Corby Mind aims to help local people to recover from mental distress by offering a safe environment where people can learn new skills, become part of their own local community and feel better about their lives.

We currently offer social, emotional and practical support within a non-judgemental environment where people can relate to how you are feeling. We aim to promote equality of opportunity and ensure that our members voices are heard and responded to.

Corby Mind Mission Statement

Our vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all, and that treats people with experience of mental distress fairly, positively and with respect.

Referral is by agency or self - referral after which an assessment appointment is offered. Assessment involves finding out what sort of help the service user is seeking, a further explanation of the range of services available, information on Corby Mind Code of Conduct, Equalities Statement and Complaints Procedure after which an initial care plan is drawn up with the service user. Care plans are renewed annually. Service users are allocated to a staff team member who will work with the service user to identify strengths and aspirations leading to outcomes. Regular reviews are incorporated into this work.

You can either pop in for an agency / self referral form or alternatively you can ring us on 01536 267280 and we can post one out to you.
