3 First Time Passes & 1 second time!
Well done to all trainees and a BIG thanks to all our trainers who have been involved in helping our trainees achieve their goals of PASSING the LGV practical test.

Well what can I say? I was a bag of nerves, had so many bad habits after driving for 16yrs but Wayne shows so much patience and understanding and gives so much encouragement. Fantastic at showing and telling you how it should be done! Excellent team that only strive to want the best for their clients. I was over the moon passing and so grateful to them.

Oscar and Dean have supported and had faith in me since day one, I cannot praise them enough, fantastic company and worth every penny. Thankyou so much guys!!�

I had a brilliant day with core training, Dean put me at ease and I was soon relaxed with driving the freelander and trailer. He taught me everything I needed to know, gave me tips and helped remove some bad habits from everyday car driving. I came away with a first time pass with 3 minors, very positive day. I would recommend to anyone near or far! (I came 1hr30 just to train with core). Thanks again �

I did the three day course for the B+E trailer driving test, Dean Wayne and Andy are all fantastic instructors that take the time to teach you right to get the pass. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking to do this test.

I did the C1 double booking with my friend Crystal. We arranged with Dean to do a 2 day training/test and crossed our fingers.

I was initially nervous about driving something bigger than the car I currently drive (which Dean informed me would fit in the back of the van!) however Crystal and I were immediately put at ease by Dean, who has an ambulance service background, and found the driving much less stressful than we thought.

We both passed our tests first time with only a few faults between us and thats because Dean gave me the confidence that I needed to just go for it.

I was so nervous before my test (and hungry, always hungry) that, on the pre-test drive, Dean took me to a place and we had bacon sandwiches and a cup of tea. Which is exactly what I needed to hit the pre-test nerves.



I would highly recommend, and have done since, to others looking for a C1 instructor who's honest, down to earth and professional. Thank you Dean! :)

I cannot recommend Core driver training ltd highly enough! Both Wayne and Dean made me feel welcome and completely at ease, right from the start.

I completed the 6 hour C1 training course and even though I felt incredibly​ nervous before (and suffered a complete sense of humour failure before my test) the encouragement and faith shown by both Dean and Wayne helped get me through...

Core driver training was recommended to me at Sheffield University and I travelled from Uclan in Preston... I will be recommending these guys to everyone on my course, the year below and anyone I pass in the street.

Honestly can't thank Dean and Core Driver Training enough. After being let down last minute by a local company, Dean managed to find me a test within 4 days and even gave up his Sunday for me! I travelled over 200 miles and would do it again in a heartbeat.



You can tell from the minute you contact Core Driver Training that they are a family run business with family values at their core (he even bought me breakfast...) Their vehicles are modern, well maintained and made driving a large van feel easy. Thanks for everything Dean!

Absolutely fantastic training, one of the best companies around for any sort of training. Not only will you be taught to a high standard but also taught how to drive rather then just to pass the test. Dean fantastic bloke plenty of patience and also can teach you a trick or two while your at it.
