Marching is an important part of #UKArmyMusic. The musicians of the Initial Trade Training course are assessed weekly by the Regimental Sergeant Major to ensure high standards are maintained. The Drum Major put them through their paces today, in preparation for Monday's assessment.

Musicians currently undertaking their Initial Trade Training (ITT) at The Royal Military School of Music have spent the day with the Band of the Grenadier Guards in London, giving them an insight into life as a musician in The Household Division. This included a presentation, watching the Band of the Welsh Guards perform at the changing of the guard ceremony and wind band rehearsals.

Yesterday The Band of The King's Division were entertaining the crowds at Cartmel Racecourse. They performed a marching display and played on the bandstand throughout the day. Their final concert was in a 'Last Night of the Proms' style and, as you can see, got the audience onto their feet and waving their flags!
