We stayed here over the Easter weekend last year 2017. It was a last minute booking & only the 2nd time in a caravan, the 1st being a friends. Ill be totally honest,i didnt do caravan/camping holidays but since getting a dog decided we d do a short caravan break with her and a shorter holiday abroad. Wasnt expecting much, booked a pet friendly economy van.

Arrived late afternoon, checked in smoothly collected bedding packs, pleasant staff (had read a negative review about staff so wasnt sure what to expect) lovely little site & i was gob smacked at how immaculate the van & site was. Could not fsult it at all. Loved the fact we could take our dog in the conservatory if we wanted and the exercise field was great for her. My younger boys enjoyed the pool and amusements. We ventured into filey & explored surrounding areas and had a great weekend away. We booked a week in summer at a bigger site but hated it...yes there was more onsite but i just kept comparing to crows nest..which won hands down

Needless to say we have booked again for Easter and some friends have booked too so hoping for another fab weekend. Booked a delux van this time so really looking forward to it. x

We love it here, we have been twice and will definitely be coming back. We camped on the top fields and it's great to look out over the sea. The toilets are clean and having a 1 year old, the family bathrooms were life saver. We can't wait to book again.

User

We came here last week end we got a very nice warm welcome and directions to the tent site was very clear. I gota to say it was extremely clean and the showers and family showers where very clean too. The park was clean ans the kids loved it played all day. The clubhouse was fairly priced aswell. The shop had everything u need for little bits. As we camp on the top of the hill the view was outstanding and we are 100% coming back to crows nest camp site. Very pleasant stay..

User

The kids, adults and dog enjoyed our stay at Crows Nest. Lovely situated camping field with clean and well kept facilities. A park for the kids and the dog, and a pub for entertainment in the evening. Swimming pool is good value for money. Very handy for visiting Filey and other attractions. Will definitely be staying again.

User

Stayed 29th June weekend. Came last year and loved it and just as good this year. Swimming pool is great for the kids they were in and out all weekend. Caravan was immaculate as it was last year and the staff are really helpful and friendly. Our friends came this year and stayed in the top field. There were quite a few lively guests but they're all just enjoying themselves and no bother to anyone at all. Well done crows nest you've got it perfect! 👍

User

Second time camping with a 3 and a 2 year old and it's the most relaxed we have felt. Sea view and watched sun rise from our tent. Spotless clean and a good sized play park. Shop on site sold everything and was reasonably priced. Didn't go in the pool as it had lots of older kids in and had one drink in the bar but wasn't child friendly and very dated. Pleanty of modern toilets and showers that I saw cleaners in regularly. Jet garage/spar shop 2 minutes drive away. Bus stops too. Close to the beach!! Lovely family break and for £25 per night

User

Just stayed for 5 nights in our touring caravan, we loved every minute. Fab site, facilities were great and well maintained. The fish shop on site was excellent. Only one thing that I was slightly disappointed about was that someone took their dog into the shower blocks which wasn't good for my toddler who is nervous around dogs. Will definitely be back though.

User

Had a really great time caravan was beautiful and clean staff in shop was nice and friendly there was a good singer in club too recommend to everyone .

User

Booked for long weekend get away for my family! We loved every minute! Sea front view, beautiful weather and great site! What more can you ask! Must admit I was a little concerned with some of the reviews about this site, just goes to show you shouldnt always believe what you read! Fantastic pool (well staffed) well stocked shop, reasonably price and the nicest fish and chips we've ever had!!! We had one tiny problem with a camper who pitched up far to close to our tent, reported it to management and within minutes the issue was resolved! All in all a great place we are booking again for August bank holiday

User

We have just got back from our 4 night break at this site. We love this place. Unfortunately they are some very scruffy and disrespectful people out there. There was only a few of us on the pitches at the top of the site. But we experienced the toliets being abused by some people - filling the sinks with muddy water, sweet wrappers all over, make up wipes on the floor and make up pads thrown at the mirrors. How do these people live? To say the site was so quiet I really dont know who made this mess. I feel sorry for the cleaners and the people on the site are working so hard to make it a great place. We will be back because we love the site and the facilities, its a great place!!!!

User

Very nice site we was in low field last year plenty of room for the children to play the staff was very helpful after i fell ill and ended up in hospital for the weekend they let my husband and children stay an extra night as i was in hospital then we packed up on the monday for me to end back in hosptal for the week. Hoping to go back in a few weeks hoping for better time x

User

Only stayed one night as a last minute get away so was on the overflow but it was brilliant, there was enough facilities to keep 3 young children entertained for 2 days! the shop, fish and chips and even the bar where very reasonably priced and the staff lovely. Will definitely return here and next time will bring our dog along we was worried about bringing him but there was hardly any restrictions.

User

Crows Nest wasn’t our usual kinda campsite as we’ve been into more wild camping away from mainstream caravanning sites but....we liked it a lot. We could tell the owners and staff cared and do their best to offer you a good camping/caravanning destination.

We had a camper van and awning which we set up right at the edge of the site looking over the bay, so we definitely recommend that spot if you prioritise views over proximity to the loo.

The views were gorgeous (once the morning mist cleared), the staff we met were all really friendly, the fish & chips were some of the best we’ve had, the loos and shower blocks were very clean and there were loads of them, the onsite shop stocks most of what you need without being silly prices, kids playground was lovely, and the swimming pool is ace.

If you fancy a campsite with a sea view close to Filey & Scarbs and with a bit of busy’ness about it then this is a good site.

User

Stayed in a mobile home, toilet block was quite a way out, or the other field was miles away from the amenities if wanted to be next to toilets, swimming pool showers were freezing, no restaurant on site no cash machine on site, stayed bank holiday weekend and it was all families yet NO family entertainment on just a band that started at 9pm. Would not recommend if you have a family

User

So you pay for a superior caravan for the weekend and you find out when you arrive you don't get any bed linen or even toilet roll included in the price! I was told I should of read the small print on the booking confirmation email by the receptionist. IMaybe when I booked I should of told been told it doesn't include bed linen and asked if I wanted to add to the cost. If you ask me they are taking advantage of customers as you have no option but to pay the extra £28 when you arrive! Oh yes then you have to pay £2 each to use swimming pool!

User

Nothing like the photos ...very cramped to close to other vans and very hard to park could do with some updating in the toilets Sharp rusty drainage sticking up by the shower..the best thing is the fish and chip shop....would not come back

User

In one word rough!!!!! The overflow field was inadequate with portable toilets, no dish washing area and one tap!!!!!!. I would totally agree with other reviews, overpriced and not up to the standard of similarly or cheaper sites. Dog poo, litter and people blasting music in the early hours of the morning, not a great combination when you have young children. I will not be returning.

User

I have just come back from steying two nights in the overflow field . Over priced for what you get 3 potter loos with was not empty . Was as far down on the over flow field you could get so was about 30/40 minute walk to the main shower block , very small pool with we over Hurd the lady behind the desk say they was 86 people in . People just let they dogs off the lead 1 even ended up in my tent at 1 point , to people fighting 20 ft away from us and our 3 young children had to sit inside most ov the night due to the fact it got very Violent and ended up with 4 grown men fighting . Would not return or recommend .

User

Being before a kids love it payed 110 for tent space weekend just gone not to be told the pub on site won’t be open shop was never open and same with swimming baths
