Just been to Currys PC World at Marina Retail Park Nottingham looking for a new iron. Asked the assistant for recommendations as we would like a 300ml water tank and a 3m power cord. She recommended that we try John Lewis!



She won't sell many irons will she!

customer service poor. manager and staff really rude. the worse experience i have had in a store. disgusting. maybe the whole staff need re training on customer values and service.

Went for fit bit watch. So nowt cheap. There all locked away. So need assistance to get one. Yer know one to help. Then i seen a assistant. He said i havnt the time. Go find someone else. Not in a polite way neither. Was shocked. So once again searched for help. Finally found someones in charge. Told him what i was after. I reported what had just happened. Even managed to point out the lad that did it. Yer he said hed have a word. Yer didnt happen. And no apologies for his staff. If my lass didnt want it so much i would have walked out. Thanks curries for the worst selling experience.

Wasted 2 hours of my life. What's the point of reserving online & collect instore when it's not even there when you get there and noone knows where anything is?!

Pointless going in to details, but the manager is an absolute wanker, and the girl he was trying to act like Hercules in front of so he can clearly got a blowy in the back room! You absolute wankers! Fucking useless, the worst part about it, fuck all will get dealt with. Absolute bunch of fucking wankers!

I posted this review on the other site. It's factual. But they removed it and blocked me. I am sure they will do the same with this one too! I am still without my 7 month old f/freezer and they don't care. Watchdog want me to wait until it's repaired before taking it up.



"Warning to all wanting to buy a Currys own Brand Fridge freezer/appliance. Don't. Unlike buying known brands, Currys employ a 3rd part company to repair items in warrantee. My 7 month old Kenwood F/Freezer broke down loosing all my food. However Currys instruct the company to go by the legal standard of allowing up to 28 days for a repair. The part has a backlog due to many failing and I will be left without a f/Freezer for 2-4 weeks. Abrupt staff not interested. Loss of food, one day of work already as they insist 9-5 slots only. Plus another day off when part arrives. Who in summer can live for upto 28 days without a f/freezer. Unreal bad customer service. Please only buy branded items. You have been warned."

Disappointed with the service I have received. Bought a Garmin on the 26th December, paid in cash and was told it would arrive in store on Saturday 30th December. Phoned on Saturday to be told manager would be sent an email to call me on Sunday to update me on what’s happening. No call received. Called again on Tuesday 2nd January to be told the same thing and the Advisor was unable to tell me if my Garmin was in store ready for me to collect, told that I would be called back by the manager. Still no call back today!! Rang myself again and was on hold for 15 minutes unable to get through so gave up! Why can you take my money yet not provide me with an update on my order??!! Absolutely appalling service!

Brought a tv he asked if I wanted the garuntee to be able to get a replacement straight away I said no but he still put me down for it and said he would do it anyway as it was free. I then noticed that I was paying a monthly fee for this I went in store and cancelled it as soon as I had a chance this was then the third trip to the store that I had to take costing me a lot of money as it is miles away from me. They then said they couldn’t refund me for what I had already paid as my ‘benefits’ of paying the fee had started even thou I hadn’t used any of them! Time and money wasted wish I brought a tv from Tesco instead!

Bought a laptop from them in December, they tried to sell me the cover plan which I said no to. Turns out they signed me up to it despite this. They were pushy. Wish I'd not bought from them. Avoid.

Another terrible customer service experience in the Nottingham store. I've lost count of the number of times we've visited this store, struggled to hunt down a staff member willing to talk to us, and left empty handed. Today we wanted to spend £300. Spoke to FOUR different people who shrugged their shoulders and said they don't work on that department. Finally found a lad to serve us who said they only had the display item in stock in this store. He was able to tell us they are in stock in another location, but unable to reserve one for us, unable to call the store as he doesn't know their phone number, more shrugging of shoulders and surprisingly we have left the store empty handed again. Why do you make it so hard for us to give you our money?! We're now going to John Lewis.
