We have many tennis members' from Spratton and although this post is not tennis related, some-one may have seen something in Spratton earlier this afternoon, outside the school. Bramble the Spaniel was stolen, let's share this post and make Bramble too hot to handle for the people who have stolen this poor dog.

British Tennis - Wimbledon Ballots:
‘Opt In’ for The Championships, Wimbledon 2019, is now open!
You have until 22nd February 2019, to Opt into the 2019 ballot via the British Tennis website, make sure you connect yourself to your club, Dallington LTC. If you don’t opt in before February, but then pull out tickets at the club ballot in May,then you won’t be entitled to the tickets unless you have opted in first.

Sad news about Andy Murray today, injuries can happen to anyone at any age and it is miserable when all you want to do is play tennis, pain free. We wish him the best for whatever he decides to do going forward, whether that is in or out of tennis. He has inspired many people to pick up a racket and have a go. #britishtennis 🎾🏆🥇🥇🏆🏆🎾

A big pat on the back to the Northamptonshire Ladies County Tennis team and to our Dallington players that help make up the team, they played back to back matches at Boston Tennis Club over the weekend in the Winter County Cup. Well done to Captain Steph Patching, Robyn Everson-watts and Cassandra Dix and to team mascot Elsie too. They had lots of wins and although they didn’t win the league this year, they beat the champions! LTA East Region, British Tennis, Tennis4All Tennis

Sunday Social: The Club has now scheduled an additional Ladies Social session slot, from 9am - 12:00pm on Sundays'. This provides a great opportunity for working members - or those unable to attend the coached Thursday Ladies Morning - to mix with other members of the club. Last week they joined the men afterwards, for a mixed social too. Anne Grey is organising this, please get in touch for her details.

We have some great numbers for this event, 20+ ladies (5 courts) and more joining us for the social and food afterwards. I will be in touch this week with a food list that you can choose from to bring on the night. 🎾🎾🎾🍷Christmassy attire is optional 🤶🌲
