Another week another transformed client 😁
Kerry attends my weekly Bootcamp session on a Friday morning and I’ve seen her totally transform over the weeks. Kerry is highly motivated and attends the gym regularly anyway.
... I tell all my clients that if the goal is to lose weight, then the diet has to change in order to start the process of losing weight.

Saturday marked another busy clinic day for me and my second ride on a medal winning horse 🥇
Many sports professionals generally tend to have the knowledge of how to keep fit and strong but 99% of the time, they will not know if they are strengthening a weakness!
... This is where I come in 👋🏽 😁
A biomechanics screening will highlight areas of muscle to work on. I am qualified to diagnose any weakness inside the body. Once we’ve established what’s happening within, specific exercises are prescribed and we will begin the process of correcting that weakness. I feel it is important to educate my client on my findings.
A common question/query I get asked is “I know what I’m doing but how do I progress?” or “I have a weakness in the lower back (and other body parts) so I can’t do any core work” The role of the core is to stabilise the spine so you need to strengthen it or weakness will take over and cause pain. Bad posture + muscle wastage = will affect everyday life!
All clients who have stuck to the plan and worked through the “working discomfort” have improved 💯% both in riding and with awareness of what is happening when they perform.
Photos are from Alison’s ‘tight hip flexion’ and ‘tight Piriformis area’ affecting her posture and riding positioning. Much improved in only 4 weeks as she’s stuck to the plan.

10 week TRANSFORMERS progress Kelly Potton And Bryn
Kelly is another client that works her ass off and gives 💯% in every session. Kelly has trained with me and the TRANSFORMERS group 3-5 times a week over 10 weeks. Kelly has always used a gym so she does know what she is doing but I’m able to motivate and take her out of the comfort zone to get the results she’s now getting 🤘

The first pic of Bryn 🤭 was his very first session on the TRANSFORMERS programme and his first experience working the way I do!! Always wanting more 😏
Second pic is the most recent and I think he his smiling! Bryn’s was struggling to run for 2 minutes 10 weeks ago! I now have him sprinting for 2 minutes with jogging as a rest and I may throw in the odd burpee if he is smiling to much.

I’ve set both of them challenges to focus on food choices!!

Friday morning bootcampers 👏 😏 I’m always looking at ways to challenge my clients and push them a little harder each time. Today’s session included 2700 reps 😫 The plan was 3500 reps but we ran out of time after 70 minutes of non stop exercise and hardly any rest. Below are a few of the exercises I planned for today. You can try majorIty of the exercises at 🏠 and I would love to know if anyone has tried it.

Anyone who has had ever had experience with the battle ropes, will know how tough they are! Battle ropes work lots of different muscles & you know you have had a proper workout when using them. This is a short clip of my client already transforming in this video. Great work Kelly Potton 👏🏼

All too often I get told by my clients before they begin their journey with me, that they have become too afraid to join a gym or fear of worsening an injury etc. My client Andrea, (shown here), went through major spinal surgery some time ago which restricted a lot of Andrea’s fitness, particularly running which was her passion. These two photos are taken 8 weeks apart (I appreciate they are different angles but you can see the results!). Andrea returned to me (she started training with me originally about about 10 years ago - showing my age here 🙈), as she wanted to not only improve physically but mentally also. Andrea has lost a total of 7inches all over (3inches off of her hips!) in just 8 weeks, this is without any abdominal exercises. Amazing results 🙌🏻 and 💯 per cent effort from Andrea

My husband and I have just had yet another great PT session with Daz. After 5 months of weekly sessions at 6.30 am we are still having fun whilst enduring varied exercise routines. We have not had the same routine yet.

Darren is very good at explaining what the exercise is, how to do it right (technique/posture etc.) and what muscle groups it benefits.

He is also a great motivator - getting the best out of me and pushing me that little bit further each time.

Plus his spin classes are good; the 45 minutes goes very quickly as the sessions are enjoyable and there is a great crowd in there too.

Just on my second session of Darren's January's boot camp, my experience of the gym is nil for a lot of years as I find I get distracted and bored! Not in Darren's boot camp!!! I find I am extremely motivated by his encouragement and the session goes so quick due to all different routines you do! You can definitely tell you have done a proper work out afterwards and is suited to all levels! Can't wait to see the results after the full 5 weeks! Thanks for putting up with me and wayne! �

Im doing the Marathon des Sables in April 2016 and Darren's expertise has become invaluable to my preparations. His understanding of biomechanics and physiotherapy has helped me to overcome an injury which could have caused a serious interruption to my training. Hes helping to strengthen my body for the rigours to come and with his help and training regime hes very much key to helping me succeed in Morocco.
