Ideally sited adjacent to the East Midlands Conference Centre, architects and interior designers have developed the eco-friendly building featuring accessible rooftop terraces, green roofs and maximum use of natural daylight. Open spaces provide superb views of The University of Nottingham's extensively landscaped campus, spanning 330 acres.
The £20 million hotel incorporates a business lounge, 120-cover restaurant, bar area, outside terrace, gym and four meeting rooms. Other features include floor-to-ceiling windows, bespoke furniture and unique decor throughout.
Built to the highest environmental standards, the hotel features state-of-the-art technology to reduce carbon emissions. Solar photovoltaic panels and ground-sourced heat technology are incorporated, as well as a lower energy assisted-cooling ventilation system.

Welcoming and lovely. Receptionist are so lovely as are all the staff - very clean and rooms are just what you need.
Everything is there.
Stayed here for training with work and the staff were fabulous. They really took care of us and made us feel important. Hotels were clean and beautiful with lots of teas and coffee's. Just wish I could have stayed for more than one night!
My second visit and it was great.Megan the receptionist on duty was a delight and really helpful.The room was spotless and bed really comfortable One suggestion which may not be possible but perhaps have a feather pillow as an option to hollow fibre? Love the querky wall art and big bath. Will continue to recommend Thanks for a great stay

Couldn't fault hotel at all. Booked for uni open day and everything was so easy! We were given map of uni on check in and told where bus stop was. Allowed to keep car parked at hotel for the day. The rooms were very very nice for the price. The breakfast was uncrowded and the food was hot and delicious. Would definately return.

Nice rooms, good food and pleasant staff. Only issue I have is price for a pint of lime and soda. £2.70 in hotel and 50p in conference centre next door. I expected to pay a bit more in the hotel but more that 400% is excessive. You lost a star for that!

No aircon and the room was so hot and uncomfortable, came to look at it with a replacement desk fan,!! Same with all the other rooms we booked.
Nice room very clean. Lovely soft thick towels. Completely agree with comments via other review regarding bed corners. Corners were obscured by a throw/blanket so you are unaware until too late. Very 😖 painful. Buffet style breakfast was nice and I would say well above some of the breakfasts I have experienced. Fresh food brought out regularly. The double room wasn’t cheap so I would expect a good breakfast and soft towels etc! I will need to stay here again so was overall pleased.
Nice clean hotel, booked a superior room and was slightly dissatisfied with a few things, batteries in the tv remote wasn't great, nor was they in the bathroom scales , the shower head was leaking terrible, and the gowns were like cardboard! But on a plus the staff were very nice but extremely slow in checking in and the bar , the food was really nice although they did forget part of my order! Breakfast was lovely tho

Room nice enough bit the shower head came away from the wall. The bathroom bin was still full from previous guests. Breakfast was tasty but just absolute chaos.
Then over charged on departure. Not really a totally relaxing stay but for the price it was ok..
Too busy - hockey tournament on and loads of children groups running up and down hallways - no food at breakfast and no where to sit - I’m sure it’s bit like this all the time but, it ruined my stay. There was no apology from staff at breakfast, so gave up
Modern, clean and fresh decor. Good food. However I attended here to review hotel for conference and meeting facilities and it offered very poor parking facilities on an average business day. You cannot park on University grounds as they issue parking fines. Many cars when I arrived were double parked, on curb sides and some taking their chances in disabled. Would not recommend for conference as not enough space/access.
Firstly the shower was terrible no pressure, I was practically hugging the wall to get under it, the temp settings where hard to get right also cold or boiling with little inbetween. However the main issue was with the restaurant I went over when it opened at 6pm to be told they had no space due to a big party, I was then told I couldn't eat the restaurant menu no more than 10 steps away at the bar. Inside 80% of the restaurant was empty apart from one large table of about 15 people, if this was the big booking that the kitchen can't cope with then they should seriously reduce the restaurant size. After explaining I had dietary requirements and not eaten since breakfast due to travelling the front of house said I could sit in but be aware food would be delayed due the the "large party"; remember those 15 ppl. Food in fact came quickly and was no issue so God knows what the entire fiasco at the front was about. Not impressed.
