What a lovely place, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Travelled 3 hours for 2 nights and 2 rounds, one round at Staverton and one at Woburn. Wish we'd played both days at Staverton, course condition superb with best greens I've ever played this time of year. Superb, will be back soon. Lads in the pro shop were friendly and very helpful.

The day was fantastic lots of praise to the hard work put in by green keepers. All the greens were awesome and the golf course was in great condition. Food was excellent and plentiful. Will definitely be coming back.

Scenic and mesmerising green hilly course which gives the player a unique challenge and an opportunity to learn how to avoid those tricky bunkers and ponds. Oh there is wildlife which adds the feel of playing in a habitat which allows one to be part of a brilliant ecosystem. The Japanese call it Satoyama, that is living in harmony with nature.

I had a fantastic experience at Staverton park. The greens were the best I have ever seen at this time of year. Massive thanks to the lads in the pro shop they were very helpful and approachable. Will definitely be going again :-)

Huge venue, top class golf course, and the food couldnt be criticised at all. The staff laid on a fantastic bbq buffet spread for the England match in the bar which was unexpected. Bar prices a tad expensive and the rooms were very hot which made for uncomfortable conditions and there was no air conditioning or fans in the room. Overall though a decent stay with welcoming staff.

Had a good stay here for two nights and three days golfing break.

Had a party of 18 with me, all very satisfied with the food at the venue, nice touch to have a bbq during the England game.

Scorching hot weather, would have been nice to have had air con in the rooms to make an easier nights sleep.

Staff didn’t really know what they were doing behind the bar.

Reception helpful but again when a question was asked couldn’t answer and always had to check with someone else.

All in all a good stay with an excellent golf course, probably one of the best I have played.

Guys in the golf shop very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great course the greens are hard to read and the short putts will catch you out. What a challenge loved it 👍

Went with a group for a 2 night stay. Friendly welcome on arrival. Good room on the first floor which was very clean. Golf course not easy but in excellent condition considering the volume of golfers. Drinks expensive. Breakfast varied and very good. Evening meal reasonable although roast beef on Sunday night tough as old boots. Will definitely go again.

Greens for winter series in excellent condition, main website useless for golf info! £25 for golf and coffee, bacon cob on arrival, very good. 9th tee no warning for none members, tee moved 50yrds forward so we all got a 2 shot penalty and 1 point in the group?? When the 4th member noticed the dirt covered ground tee marker, yellows behind the blacks!! £500 first prize again superb. Boggy muddy fringes but great fairways and layout. A mixed bag.

Real nice course, but let down by the Groupon deals which bring hackers to the place, we were a 3 ball and got stuck behind a four ball all the way round who were smoking weed and taking 20 mins or more to finish a hole! Done our heads in!

Nice course good putting greens, no halfway hut open as closes at 2, not useful when they have societies playing. Pro shop friendly and helpful. The hotel is very shambolic. Check in slow, not till 3.30pm and although the food in restaurant was good, the service was painfully slow and not what was pre ordered, management were apologetic though. Think they bite off more than they can chew

Don't use groupon if you don't really want the business!!

We booked a 2 night stay, travelled 3 1/2 hours. Terrible room food was a buffet help yourself felt like I was back in school young people (staff!!!!!) dotted around didn't know what was happening or even being served ..stayed the one night due to partner being pregnant and was to tired to travel 3 1/2 hours home the same day. Corridors were like a hospital. Bath was stinking had to wash it myself before getting in.. swimming pool was in a separate building a fair walk from our room not acceptable for these winter days/evenings. Pool looked a lot bigger than shown in photos. So disappointed with our stay at the de vere wouldn't rate it 1☆ but you have to give a rating.
