Delapre Lake Description

Delapre lake is one of the oldest gravel pits along the Nene Valley, surrounded in mature trees Contained within the grounds of Delapre Abbey. The lake itself contains large Carp and shoals of tench and bream which can be fished for through the year 24 hours a day.

The fishing is best suited to Specimen anglers looking for a challenge and wishing to do their own thing. You will be fishing for some of the oldest carp in Northampton. With Carp running to 40lbs the rewards are there for those willing to put the effort in. Add to that the Large shoals of bream and tench a good days sport can be had.

The ticket for 2014 runs from January 1st through until the 31st of December and is priced at only £40. We allow the use of 3 rods providing that the correct number of EA licence are held.
