We went to Denz today to meet up with our friend and her two little ones, after reading the reviews the night before i was a little worried.. but i can safely say the staff were brilliant, polite, nothing too much trouble, the food was lovely and all our kids had a great time.. it is spotlessly clean, and cared for, would highly recommend and will definatly be coming back, thanks so much for an enjoyable morning x

Lovely play place and great food. Went the extra mile, as when my friend's little boy accidentally dropped his tea on the floor (not having eaten any) they made a fresh meal at no extra charge. Well done Denz.

Just took grandchildren to play and have lunch at Denz. Its good value for money and the kids and grandad love it.

I've taken my little boy to denz today after school, to celebrate his birthday and just want to say Thankyou to the staff. Helpful and polite, ensuring that everything was ok for us. The children all had a lovely time and my little boy was even handed an unexpected balloon as he left.

I've brought my boys here a few times before, as they really enjoy coming but felt the need to write a review today due to the great service �

I live in Derby & came to Denz yesterday with a friend who lives local to it. It was a lovely place with good parking, very friendly helpful staff & the place was very clean. My son really enjoyed himself & we spent a few hours here. Toilets & changing facilities were spotless. I will definitely visit again soon.

I have visited denz several times over the years and it seems to get better. The kids love the soft play area. They do plenty of offers on there website or deals when you arrive today it was the play area and a meal for the children for £6. What a bargain. Other reviews state that the staff are unfriendly I have never seen this. In fact I find the staff very friend and welcoming. It does get busy and can be hard to find a parking spot but it's worth waiting for one. They even offer customer free wifi to connect to while the kids play.

Great place kids loved it was nice to have a drink and meals for kids good value

Going to Denz was great. It was good value and my son loved using the 5 floors of the soft play :)

Fantastic soft play centre, great play area for babies to 4year old and the larger adventure zone was excellent. Food in the cafe was good and reasonably priced.

Staff were so friendly and the place is very clean.

5*+++ I've just come home from Denz and I cannot rave about this place enough! My little man turned 1 year old a week ago, which meant that we now have to pay £2.95 for him as opposed to the £1. I was aware of this before going and so when asked how old he was, I said that his birthday was a week ago so we were full payers now. The lovely lady (gutted I didn't catch her name!) said that as a goodwill gesture and to say Happy Birthday we could pay £1 today! She then said that on the way out she would have a balloon waiting for my little man - he loves balloons :D after eating, our group had used a fair few high chairs and there weren't any free for other mums to use, so I started cleaning them off and the same lovely lady came over and told me off for doing so! She said 'you should be here to relax with your boy' and then proceeded to clean them all. As we left we had a lovely chat and she hadn't forgotten the balloon either, my little man fell asleep holding it on the way home. I haven't had this level of service from any other soft play area and I've visited a few - thankyou so much for an amazing experience, it's made my week :D

Took my 2 children here to play, they seemed to enjoy it and have fun.

However Denz does seem to be one of the more expensive soft plays in the area, i was charged the full £4.95 for my 1 year old to have the privilege to come and play. Other soft plays in the area which are just as good as Denz if not better have tiered pricing offering fairer pricing for younger children who may not be able access the full facilities. Due to this we will probably choose to go elsewhere in future.

Kids were bored, drinks expensive, would normally have treated kids to lunch but wasn't inspired by the menu. Will not be going again, gave 3 stars because it was clean and more suitable for younger children and not a 10 year old that was with

I have visited Denz lots over the years because my children like it but compared to the other soft plays we go to, it is very expensive but most of all the manager is terrible at customer service, she is just rude and abrupt. The new £1 charge for a 6 month old to sit on their mothers lap and never even touch the soft play is quite outrageous, its a charge for nothing and when we questioned it saying she will be sat on her lap the entire time she was just rude about it and said "well thats what we charge" in a really stroppy manner, so you pay to hold your baby? Crazy. The soft play is great, kids love it, but as an experience, not good at all.

With the weather turning ugly I decided to treat the kids to a play date at dens with their little friend leo... upon arriving we ordered some drinks... we then went and played in the toddler part with the little ones, a lady who worked there was constantly asking all the kids for their ages and then telling them to get out the toddler area.... this was quite annoying... the kids wasn't doing any harm!!! After a few minutes we took the little ones for for a drink... little leo aged just 1 took a sip of his juice, but drank it a little to fast causing himself to choke and throw up!! (We think he was a little bit excited to be playing with his friends) & it didn't go on anyone or anywhere else other than the person holding him! anyway... all was under control we was cleaning him up ready to go back and play.... but then a member of staff came straight over and asked us to leave!!! We was shocked and asked why.... she explained it's there policy if a child is ill they have to go... I told the member of staff that he wasn't ill, and he had just chocked a little on his juice.... she wouldn't listen and asked us to leave!! We had only been there less than 20 minutes.... we hadn't even drank any of our drinks!! I asked for a refund and she said "well how long have you been here" I said not long and then we was thankfully given one.... but then I was told couldn't have a refund for our drinks we had not been able to drink!!!

Eventually she did give me a full refund!!! I'm absolutely disgusted in this policy!!! Kids can choke and be sick a bit without being ill or carrying a virus... I think staff need to be educated on things like this... especially with him only being young.... thanks for ruining what was meant to be a lovely play date for our children.... I was planning on enquiring about my daughters 3rd Birthday party on this visit... but I'll be giving that a miss, just incase one of our guests gets a little excited and chokes on their drink!!

Took 14 month old granddaughter this was the first time we had taken her to a soft play centre and I must say I was very disappointed there is no staff supervision of monitoring of the play area we were in the under 4s area and found that older children coming in and out taking the toys and running around their parents either didn't know or didn't care when we told the staff (twice) nothing was done them a group of people arrived for a children party several boys from this party O would guess to be around 8years old thought it would be great fun to show their parents how they could run up the slide in the under 4s area which the parent appeared to approve and encourage at this point we and others in the area with small children decided to leave
