In a diverse and sometimes divided world we want to create a powerful example of a peaceful community, A community where we understand that: ‘we do not have to think alike to love alike’.

We are a group of 'trailblazing non-conformists' working to create a powerful example of peaceful community for the 21st Century.

Our strap line of be more, do more, make a difference is pretty much what we focus on here at Derby Unity. Our mission is to encourage and support each other to:

Be more discerning by looking deeper into the preconceived ideas and ideals of our society and culture.

Do more by being actively engaged in conversations, in kindness and in putting compassion at the centre of everything we do.

Make a difference by developing and manifesting into this world the highest and deepest expression of our humanity.

We do this by looking at the lives and teachings of those who inspire us, from both secular and spiritual sources, and by using those teachings to remind ourselves of why it is important that our authentic self is nurtured and allowed to shine out into the world.

There are gatherings, small groups, celebrations, mutual support, social justice work, and more!

Our Children's programme is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.

If you would like to join us we meet every Sunday at the Multi-Faith Centre on Kedleston Road at 11. 00 am - all are welcome and we serve tea, coffee and breakfast bites from 10. 30.
