Thank you all that showed up to Alt Fest today, it was amazing. The bands were rocking and we were loving it. To those that missed it,do not worry, more events will be happening in the near future. Videos will be uploaded soon for those who want to see some bits of what happened during the event and stay tuned for the future events. Rock On :)

Hey Rock Fans, Derby Alt-Fest kick started an hour ago and you’re all slowly arriving. Hope you all have a rocking day, after all the gig is 11 hours long.

3 days to go guys, if you have not paid for your memberships and clicked going on this event, I'd recommend doing it as soon as possible as that is your way of guaranteeing your discounts. For those that do not have membership cards, at least one of us will be outside The Hairy Dog handing them out to paid members. Just come up to us and say your name and we will give one to you. Keep on rocking and we will see you there.

Hey Rock Fans, It's day two of Freshers Fair at Keddleston Road, a ton of you signed up yesterday; as well as visited the booth. We're all hoping more of you come today; and sign up. Tomorrow we'll be at Marketeaton for the Fresher's fair there; see ya all there and rock on!

Hey there, Fellow Rock Aficionados, Rock Society are taking all the members to Derby Alt Fest; one of the biggest events in Derby relating to Rock Music. This will be the first event of the year, we’re all excited for it; and I bet you are too.
So what we require from you is two things, first off we need you join us as a member of Derby’s Rock Society, which you can do it at: https://www.derbyunion.co.uk/societies/ro ck/ Then secondly, we need you to contact us via social me...dia to confirm your place at Alt Fest; also mark yourself as going on this event post; that way we can assemble a guest list to forward to the Hosts of Derby Alt-Fest. Why are we asking you to all assemble within our guest list? It’s pretty simple, members of Derby Rock Society can get their tickets at 2/3 of the price of what the actual ticket costs; that’s right you’ve all got a discount, which will hopefully apply to future venues once they’re organised.

Dear all, Rock Fans; towards the end September, we’re bringing you to Derby Alt Fest, we’re working alongside Derby Alt Fest to bring you all to one of the biggest gigs in the local area, this year. Due to you all being part of the Derby Rock Society; we’re managing to get tickets for you all for a lower price. We just need you to guarntee your attendance, so we can do a guestlist to forward to the Hairy Dog to show who are coming along with Derby Rock Society.

Once that's done, click the button that's says account and you should find the basket. You have to get a society pass with it that costs £7 but that will allow to join as many societies as you want. As it's now officially summer we'd like to announce that Rock Society will be continuing into 2018/19 despite some uncertainty! A massive thank you to the new committee for taking it on and I wish you all the best!
I'd like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to this years committee Hattie Potterton, Jessie West, Kieran Woolley and Connor Thompson for your work y...ou've done a great job and I am so proud of you all. As well as all the members and your continued support! Helping bring a Rock Society to Derby has been an amazing experience and I know that last years committee will be glad to see it carry on! I wish you all a great summer and can't wait to see what the new committee do so without further a do here is your new committee!
