What a fabulous afternoon myself and my daughter have had. Lovely ride, lovely horses and lovely people. Personal attention and tuition and tips on the ride. Highly recommend for everyone to go whether beginner or experienced or rusty like me. I'll be going back

Well today was the first time I had ridden a horse I completely felt at ease, April the shire horse I was riding was gentle and to say the least made me comfortable I would definitely recommend and will be going back for more trekking

We've been twice so far when in the area on holiday and will try to go back each time we go. We love - the safe horses, nice people, fab off road rides, lots of canters. Beautiful place to ride. All good!

We went for my mums 70th Birthday Ride, had a fantastic time, staff were friendly and very knowledgeable would definitely recommend ��

We went as a group, my friends don’t ride and one had never rode. They looked after us all and we had a fab time. Lovely people and some beautiful horses � xx

Was made to feel hugely welcome. Very professional yard, which gives you peace of mind. Great tour, lots of information. Instructors very accommodating to your needs and understanding. Horses were all lovely, good selection of different rides to choose from to match your skill level. Would thoroughly recommend. Will definitely come again -hopefully I'll bring sun with me next time. �

Travelled up from Essex with a friend and booked a 3hour walk trot and canter hack morning and afternoon for both days was able to ride different horses had a lovely time April and Rosie were our favourite looking forward to coming back in September great place thank you Jayne and her staff

My granddaughter, aged 6, had a wonderful trek on Lorraine today on a lead rein. This was a belated birthday present (it was far too wet in April!) and she said that it was the best ride she has ever had, because she was also allowed to do lots of trotting.





Jayne organised the trek carefully, so that everyone was able to have a good time according to their ability.





Looking forward to celebrating my birthday with you next Tuesday.

My daughters and I trekked today for the first time and loved it. What a beautiful place! The young girls who lead my daughters were kind and professional and really put my youngest (5) at ease. We already want to come again �

My Mum and I have been wanting to ride in the English countryside for so long, and today that became a reality - wonderful ride, beautiful and well-mannered horses, very pleasant and attentive guidance/company, and breath-taking scenery. A little piece of heaven.

Me and my friends from university loved our experience at Derbyshire Pony Trekking on Friday. Everything about our time there was simply amazing. We were really looked after by all of the horses (especially Cally ;) ) and of course by Jayne. We were all at different levels in our riding and we were all catered for in order for us to feel challenged but comfortable. A really good price too for the services and gorgeous horses who are obviously cared for dearly which is very refreshing. We will be returning soon. Loved every second. Thanks so much ❤️

I’d been looking for somewhere where my sister and I (who used to have our own horses) could go out for a ride with our children (aged 5, 6 and 6) who are complete beginners. Amy, Olivia and Courtney were lovely and they were brilliant with the girls. The horses were great too and it was lovely to ride off road, out in the countryside, as a family. We couldn’t have asked for a better first time hack for our daughters. They can’t wait to come back!

I went on a 2 hour trek today and it was absolutely brilliant. I rode Heidi and she was just lovely, a little pocket rocket! Courtney was fab, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take me out. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again soon!

I found Derbyshire Pony Trekking online. I wanted to Gallop, and Lynda, Mr. Tubs and Rocket delivered! Was a blast, I had to go twice in one day.



I enjoyed the hour and half trek with the regular gals. It was quiet a voyage finding this place without a car, but well worth the trek!



I stayed in Nottingham, took a train for almost an hour, and then walked about a half hour, even though I could of hopped on a bus to save 12 minutes, I preferred to keep the Pounds in my pocket.



It is a beautiful place. Lynda and her staff are welcoming and know how to treat the horses and clients as individuals. The horses are sweet, well groomed, fed, and are gems to ride! Don't let Mr. Tubb's body and name fool you! He can move, but Rocket is a jet!



I made a the visit just to Derbyshire Pony Trekking all the way from California. I took the shortcut through the crops and the park to wind up back at the train stop, that has no station. I felt like I was going back in time, or more like maybe being in Minnesota somewhere today.



I SKIPPED OUT on the over priced Near LONDON Gallops, and opted for Derbyshire Pony Trekking. I got to see another part of the UK, and the cool city of Nottingham, and explore the beautiful trails with Lynda and her horses, and meet some nice regular riders. I hope to return.

I am a complete beginner and I have been looking around for somewhere to start for a while, then I came across Derbyshire Pony Trekking and I am so glad I did. The staff are very professional and friendly from start to finish and the horses are well trained and looked after too. To say I’ve never ridden a horse before, On my first lesson Jayne got me riding a lovely horse all on my own and even got me to do the rising trot! The treks are out of this world and beautiful scenery, safe to say I am truly hooked and will be returning for regular treks!

Had the most gorgeous ride on Heidi today! Relaxed, friendly and professional, they go that extra mile to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Many, many thanks. I will definitely be coming back! ���

Had a fantastic time today with my 4 year old daughter. The staff were friendly and professional and quickly put us both at ease, despite my little girl being initially nervous of the horses. The route was beautiful and the horses were clearly extremely well cared for, well behaved and gentle. I highly recommend!

Girls had a great time after a nervous start. The team were very kind. Quick tip to anyone going, don't mistake a sign with the company logo on it opposite a farm as the entrance, it's further down the road! Nearly wrecked the car on a dirt track.

After owning a very challenging horse for eight years and being very restricted on where was safe to ride him I felt it was time to enjoy riding again and went to Derbyshire trekking centre for the first time with my daughter. Wow what a fab place! Our horses duke and rocket were amazingly behaved and really opened up when we asked them to. The hacking is one of the best we’ve been to with mostly off road country side with lots of fun canters and galloping. For the first time in eight years I could relax, ride on the buckle and even no stirrups! That’s what riding is all about. Enjoyment! Will definitely return x
