Our CEO #amoraju is oh his way to BBC Radio Derby as a guest on the news panel.

Plot to Plate will be starting work on their new allotments in the next few weeks. We desperately need sponsors to help with the build and are looking for businesses to donate building materials such as slabs, sand, wood etc. The plot has to be accessible to all disabled people so it is important we get pathways laid. If you or your company can help, please let us know.

You would think a huge organisation like Sainsbury's could afford to train their staff in Disability Equality.

Our last thank you of this years volunteers week celebrations, goes to Derby Sound Community Radio. The project is entirely run by volunteers and when i say we couldn't do it without you, i literally mean it! You all bring so much to the project and we are lucky to have you all on the team. Today we are thanking Mick, for his hard work as a volunteer for the Plot to Plate project. Mick was the first volunteer on the project and built the accessible allotment during the winter months in the snow, wind and rain.He has continued to improve the plot over the years and is always on hand when we need something new building. Today we're celebrating the work Ray has done as a volunteer for our Plot to Plate project. He never lets us down and even takes care of the plot throughout the winter. Thank you Ray, you're a star.
