We are here for a 2nd time with 2 more of our grandchildren . What a lovely peaceful park . The kids are safe to run around and have made friends already . The facilities are fab x

Second visit to Donkey Creek our first was the opening weekend .still a work in progress but things moving on since first visit .lovely location very peaceful ( apart from the occasional jet testing which isn’t frequent and is actually quite fascinating ) easy walk to village fab little Italian restaurant a couple of pubs small shops and bus stop for trips to Lytham ( very smart lovely shops restaurants cafes and wine bars ) then St Anne’s and of course Blackpool .the pitches are inclusive of water electrics waste drainage and tv aerial .Stylish well thought out washrooms/ loos

And very friendly owners who are keen to please and have a few more plans .i am interested to see the site grow .

We stumbled across this lovely wee site by accident and we’re so glad we did.

It has only been opened 7 weeks but they are definitely doing it right.



The pitch itself was huge! Plenty of room for the caravan, awning, car and then some. It is a hard standing pitch with a small grass area for each caravan to get the use of (helpful as I have 2 young kids)



The owner couldn’t be more hospitable, very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. They are also open to suggestions on moving forward with the new site.



There is a shop on site which sells all of the essentials that you may need or may have forgotten. A perfect selection when caravaning.



The toilet/shower block is absolutely spotless. There is complimentary cotton buds and balls too, some people may think that’s not a big deal but it’s the one thing I always forget to bring when I’m away so it was huge bonus �

There is hairdryers in the block that are free to use and there is also sockets available in case you need to plug in straightener etc. From a woman’s point of view this is a big plus!



There is also a spotlessly clean laundry room on site. Another bonus as I had no washing to come home to �



Although the site is rural and in a country side surrounding, it is only a 10 minute walk to the closest town which has pubs, takeaways, restaurants, barbers etc. It is only a 30 minute drive to Blackpool too.



Overall I loved my stay and we have already booked to go back. 10/10
