This customer had been experiencing issues during their short ownership of this vehicle. Issues with poor fuel consumption, smoking, fumes, generally overall it wasn't a pleasurable experience for them.
From the first message it was clear that the DPF Internals had been removed but the software had not been corrected. We advised to pop and see us to check the vehicle over. Sure enough the saturation was through the roof and the canister had been cut open.
An adjustment to the... software and all sorted and one happy customer. DPF Software Delete, EGR Software Delete and a nice Stage 1 Remap. Another satisfied customer.

This Mk6 Golf 2.0TDi CR110 came to us for a Stage 1.5 Remap along with DPF & EGR Software Delete. After trying half a dozen local firms that told him that his car couldn't be done he stumbled across. No problem at all to Remap these vehicles if you remove the ECU. It seems the other outfits were only offering OBD Mapping.
Unfortunately no DYNO figures as customer wasn't fussed over that, but being the Detuned CR140 engine with a 5 speed box typical Stage 1.5 figures are 175hp and 385nm torque.

We don't just cater for cars, this Crafter Truck came to us with DPF Problems, customer had already removed the DPF and just wanted it mapping out. We gave it the FULL Package, DPF Delete, EGR Software Removal & Stage 1 Remap.

CONFIRMED:
**6 points and £200 fine for using a mobile whilst driving from 1st March 2017**
Advice to keep it simple:
... - Keep your mobile in a craddle or glove box - You cant touch the phone if its in a craddle, even if you stop at lights and even if your parked up with the engine on - If you want to use the sat nav on a mobile or plug the charger in. You must set it up before keys are in the ignition and dont touch it once engine is on - You cant scroll for tracks on your mobile while driving so have your playlist set up before entering the car - If you work for Uber or alike, you cant touch the phone when the engine is on. So you cant accept work while your on the move - Mobile can only be used if your parked up safely with engine off and keys out of ignition (Wireless keys - engine off) - Death by dangerous driving is now life imprisonment, no longer 14 years - You can use a mobile via built in-car technology like bluethooth. However, if you do have a collision, it can go against you. - You cant use headphones - You cant use loud speaker from your phone - You cant move your phone while the engine is on - If you call someone and they are driving, hang up - If you are a passenger and the driver is using a phone, take it off them and tell them off - If you are a employer and you force your staff to use a phone, It can result into imprisonment for you, large fines and your company being suspended from operation - Rules apply to PDAs also

The dreaded DPF issues again... :( Not a problem for us to resolve though :)
Being a 2012 model 2.2CTDi Civic these run the later EDC17CP50 ECU which has password protection that needs decrypting before any reading or writing can be done. Once again not a problem when you are using the latest tools... :D
While we was inside the ECU we disabled the EGR Software & gave it a cheeky Stage 1 tune up... Unfortunately this one wasn't ran on our inhouse dyno but anticipated stage 1 g...ains are:-
30hp, 60lb ft torque, and up to 20% mpg improvement.

We had the joy of working on this little beauty this week... :)
Audi A5 3.0TDi v6 24v 240hp 368lb ft Standard ;)
Came in with DPF problems... We swiftly removed the issues and restored the car back to full health. Disabling the EGR Valve while we were at it.
... Approx figures after Stage 1 Remap 280hp and 430lb ft. And upto 20% mpg improvement. No dyno graph as customer wasn't bothered about fuel or power gains from the FOC Stage 1 Remap, just wanted the DPF issues resolved...

We mapped this little beauty to Stage 1 just over 15 months ago... :)
Customer brought it back to us with EGR Problems, so we disabled the EGR Valve for them and removed the DPF and tweaked the map...
They also brought with them their copy of their Stage 1 Dyno... ;) 361hp & 490lb ft ;) Not a bad gain from the 335D running approx 286hp and 427lb ft as standard... :)
... Upto 20% MPG Gains too... :)

We're seeing quite a few corrections coming into us lately, vehicles that have been worked on previously elsewhere but are still not quite right...
This Seat Leon 2.0TDi PD170 had been elsewhere for DPF Delete, EGR Delete and a Performance Remap. There’s no doubt it’s faster but the engine management light was on and the coil light was reported flashing for 2 days but thankfully no limp mode… This was also tested somewhere else other than the original company and they also sa...id the remap was ok, but to us and the customer it most definitely wasn’t/isn’t. So two people previously working on/looking at the vehicle before us both saying all is fine…
The DPF had been removed but not properly/fully, the car had been mapped poorly, drove well but the map wasn't right at all, it was all over the place... :(
The car had smoked on idle since the DPF Delete, although it cleared once driven... Classic poor DPF Removal Solutions... Classic signs that the DPF was still active and regenerating when it shouldn't be...The EGR was mapped out but not fully…
We soon had the car running the way it should be... Stage 1 Remap and the DPF & EGR properly disabled... End result? One very happy customer, as car drives better, feels quicker, and no lights on the dash anymore :) :) :)

Customer brought this Vw Golf 2.0 PD170 to us redo his current remap. He'd had it for a while and wasn't happy with the current remap carried out elsewhere, with the way it had been done and how it delivered the torque and power... :/
This had been played with badly by whoever had remapped it before... Dpf had been removed but not properly, car had been mapped poorly, seemed to pull well, but was aggressive torque and looking at the map it was all over the place... :(
We soon... had the car running the way it should be and then some... Stage 1 Remap and the DPF properly disabled... End result? One very happy customer :) :) :)

Was good to be back out on the road over Easter, made a nice change, and the sun came out to play too! :) Lol.
Vauxhall Zafira 1.9CDTi 150hp 16v and Saab 1.9TiD 120hp 8v.
Customer had removed the Physical DPF from both vehicles just leaving us with the DPF Software to disable along with the EGR Valve and then perform a cheeky little remap too... ;)
... The Zafira was already mapped previously but to drive it you would never have known, even when the Sports Button was pressed. The customer drove it for 5 years like it too... :( More than happy with the new remap, both husband and wife came back with a big smile on their faces :)

Customer brought this Seat Leon 2.0 PD170 to us for a little extra poke and fuel economy. He'd had it for about a year and fancied a little upgrade. When we pulled the map off the ECU we found something interesting but worrying...

A very poorly Mazda 6... In the garage for DPF Issues, then the story unfolds, reason the DPF is blocked is down to a turbo failure, one poorly turbo and a very wet DPF ... Soon be back to full health with FULL DPF Removal, Stage 1, and a nice healthy turbo replacement...
