Happening every Thursday in the Butterfly House down below us

Over the last couple of months we have been working on the garden of Bumblebee. Yesterday, with the help of many friends, we moved the play house into position. The lawn is clover an the plants chosen to attract bees. There's also a built in barbecue (not shown yet!).

Come and see what's going on in New Mills this September

We hosted 12 Belorussians this July for the first week of their 3 week recuperative holiday in the Glossop and New Mills area. There are 5 children aged 5-6 that are in remission from cancer, their 5 mums, a 6 month old baby and Lena the interpreter. They stayed in Dragonfly and Ladybird. It's hard to get pictures of them all together - here are a couple of pictures of our pictures.

This week we are hosting 5 children in remission from cancer (aged 5-6), their mum's, a lovely little baby and Lena the interpreter in Dragonfly and Ladybird. They are really enjoying their stay so far. They are in the High Peak for a three week recuperative holiday.

We are now using Who Gives a Crap toilet paper, kitchen roll, and tissues (when we've used all the existing stock). Small actions can make a big difference.

High Peak Food Hub is in the cafe below the apartments every Thursday. They provide an opportunity to get locally produced products delivered to you. If you order from one of the local suppliers, we can arrange to have your order put into the apartment ready for your arrival.

We have availability throughout August. It will start booking up soon, so if you're thinking of when to stay now is a good time to decide!

There are so many reasons to come and Visit New Mills

We shall be offering free stays in our apartments at part of this auction, can anyone else offer something?

We stayed in Dragonfly and Ladybird over Christmas and New Year and it was brilliant. Richard is very helpful, always available and always pleasant to talk to. The apartments were spacious and clean, and had what we needed. The location is great, with pubs and shops and walks nearby. The space worked very well for us as we were a very large extended family coming and going on different dates, and being there made all the mayhem go as smooth as could be expected! Thanks Richard. We'll be back.
