Well, we managed it. And contrary to the look on my face, I did enjoy it 😂 We never gave up, even in 50mph winds.
Even when we reached the top, and there was only one space left on the train back down, I thought oh well, mum will manage the walk, I'll just have to wait for her at the bottom... Jokes 😂
Miraculously, there was a spare seat at the last minute, and we both fitted on. And, as I sit here chugging along, sat opposite an overweight brummy family, munching on cream c...akes and froot shoots, I feel strangely elevated to a new level of smug. Because none of these boggers have just scaled 1085 metres in freezing fog! Very proud of mum. She only fell over twice, and I only lost her the once. Today was absolutely briwyunt. I'd do it all again tomorrow.... Jokes.

I've had the pleasure of buying over the phone and going in shop more than once ..I love it ..

I was gifted a 2016 calendar last year and it was fantastic!... Especially as I live in Perth WA and I had to translate every picture to my Aussie husband! 😂🤣😂 Fabulous gifts, I think it's a really unique way of promoting Nottingham.

I have placed a few orders now with these lovely people in the most delightful little shop. Service, delivery and quality is superb, totally first class. I am Nottingham born and bred, left for Lincs 35yrs ago, but this gem of a find keeps me still in tune with my home town, the language etc, and makes me smile. Thanks Dukki peeps.
