E.J. Churchill Gunmakers will be attending the The Festival of Gunmaking at Atkin Grant & Lang
After the sucess of last years event, we are excited to welcome back the finest gunmakers in the world to exhibit their guns and once again offer an opportunity to meet the craftsmen involved and celebrate the true art of gunmaking. Not only will you be able to see and handle a full range of guns but have the chance to shoot a selection of demonstration guns available on the day. No booking required or admission fees for the festival. Entry from 9am until the Championship prize giving at 5pm.

The course is a CPSA 100 registered Sportrap shot over 4 layouts. Please call reception on 01494 883227 to book your slot. We aim to publish the results within 24 hours of the end of each competition.
Winter Hours (October to March): 9am – 2pm (last card out)
April: 9am – 4pm (last card out)
... Summer Hours (May to September): 10am – 5:00pm (last card out)

The CPSA course is a 100 English Sporting registered over 10 or 12 manned stands. Prize Money will be given to High Gun at £100.00 and each Winner in Class in AA, A, B and C (prize money depending upon entries per class). We aim to publish the results within 24 hours of the end of each competition.
Competition entries cost £39.50 and birds only at £34.50

We were two girls going on our own. I've never picked up a gun before let alone shoot one. The whole experience from the start to the end was fantastic!! The guys that run each section helped you out so much that I now want to carry on shooting as a hobby. This was the best experience I have ever had and would recommend it to anyone xxx

The sporting caddies are very helpful and the facilities are excellent. For tge more experienced shooters, the summer nights promotion and the Monday morning sporting represent excellent value for money.

I was also surprised to see items in the shop cheaper than you can find online (not everything though) and the gunsmiths are also very helpful.

Thankyou for hosting a fantastic and very memorable World Championship Event. Certainly set the bar very high for shoots in the future. The hospitality, organisation and atmosphere of the whole event was like no other shoot I have been to. Very Well done.

Simply a breath of fresh air! Visited on Friday with the view of purchasing a Blaser shotgun. The moment I entered the shop I realised I was in safe hands! The first thing I noticed was the shop was well stocked with all the brands and a very warm welcome on what was a very wet day! Upon finding the gun room I was greeted by Jonathan & Chris with a much needed cup of tea! After short listing the choice of gun Jonathan lead us out to what I can only describe as the best shooting grounds I have visited! With the demo in hand and 50 rounds of complimentary cartridges a decision was made, they gave me the choice of stock and whilst the paperwork was being completed I was even given lunch!

What an exceptional experience and I can't thank Jonathan Ward enough! Well done for exceeding all my expectations. See you again soon.

Quality facilities run by quality people.....Steve Hayes in particular made for a thoroughly enjoyable day!!

My first visit and for a big competition. Ground immaculate and still being improved. Staff professional and very pleasant. The club house is stunning and I'd live in it if I could! Cannot wait for the WESP and my next visit... �

My first time shooting in England and my first go at sporting. I had a blast and was well taken care of. The service was amazing and Steve was a great coach. The targets were perfect and the grounds beautiful. I can't wait to come and have another go in June.

Just shot the World’s English Sporting, Red & Blue courses, and would like to congratulate Mr. Digweed on the amazing targets he set.....(& the photo opportunity!) My husband and I have been shooting almost 3 years, and started competing last September. This was our 15th registered shoot and we were delighted to come away with a 50% (for myself, and no ‘0’ stands’) and 57.5%(for Alistair). More importantly I feel I have learnt SO much in taking part. A HUGE learning curve! For us to come away with those statistics shows how well the targets had been planned to suit all classes. To be able to watch the more experienced shooters shoot was also such a delight. There was a great atmosphere and so great to see all nationalities enjoying this wonderful occasion together. Thank you all again for your hard work and Good luck to Everyone ....especially on Sunday!

Great setup very friendly and welcoming staff. Shot today the 100 bird Sporting Reg really good targets.

Great day, catered for 120 people in one group easily. Good option for company party, thanks will do it again

First time visit for me to E J Churchill earlier this week! I had driven up from Norfolk to take a look at a few guns, on arrival my first impressions of the place were very good and I thought to myself "what a lovely place" once Inside I was met in the gun room by Johnathan and Was quickly made to feel very comfortable and a cup of tea was on its way in no time at all! I told him what I was looking for and I was soon handling a few blaser f16s... I took a shine to a lovely grade 5 example and knew I had to have it I just needed to get the right deal as I was hoping to trade my beretta 692 in against the blaser! Johnathan was very professional and extremely helpful he came up with a deal that I was more than happy with and I was now the proud owner of a beautiful new toy... I would just like to say a big thank you to Johnathan for making me feel very welcome, comfortable and relaxed also for giving me such a good customer experience! I would have no hesitation in recommending you to everyone I know... Once again many thanks and

Attended a charity clay shoot at West Wycombe estate last week hosted by the EJ Churchill team. Safe to say one of the best shoot days I have ever had, everything was thought of. Great hospitality, great targets and great coaches. Brilliant

A wonder morning for my bday shooting with a great instructor Stewart great fun my friends and clients enjoyed them selfs

I have visited E.J. Churchill many times before and had a wonderful time. Normally E.J. Churchill would rate five out of five. The only reason the rating was high as a two is because the caddy was exceptional, otherwise it would have been a one. E.J. Churchill is a first rate venue, commanding first rate prices. I do not expect every other trap to be down, throwing inconsistently or to be a following pair. Maintain your equipment better.
