This ABS pump is a very common failure for BMW 3-Series, Z4 and 1-Series vehicles built between 2005 and 2014, the common fault is that the ABS, DSC and handbrake light remain switched on with stored fault codes of '5DF0-Hydraulic unit pump motor' and '5DF1-Hydraulic unit pump motor connector faulty', these fault codes will not clear during normal diagnostic checks, we can rebuild your own unit and supply replacement units when in stock all with a lifetime warranty as standard...

This ABS pump and module for the Volkswagen T5 Transporter is a commonly failing part that will cause the constant illumination of the ABS and Traction Control warning lights and an audible beeping on starting the vehicle. In addition to these warning lights; the Handbrake light will flash, the speedometer will become inoperative and the fuel gauge may become erratic.
Commonly the internal malfunction of these VW T5 ABS pumps will cause codes to be logged for 00285 – ABS whe...el speed sensor front right, 00290 – ABS wheel speed sensor rear left and 01276 – ABS hydraulic pump V64 malfunction, or ultimately it may simply fail to communicate full stop giving a clear indication of failure.
We are able to test and rebuild these troublesome ABS units at a fraction of the cost of a new replacement unit, and provide a Lifetime Warranty as standard.

These MMT gearbox and clutch actuators are very common for Toyota vehicles fitted with the Multimode Transmission system. Failure will cause the N symbol flashing and the gearbox stuck in neutral.

This BMW 3 Series, 1 Series and Z4 electric power steering rack motor is a very common fault for the 2006 – 2016 build range. Complete and sudden loss of power assisted steering, caused by failure of this unit, will cause the steering to become incredibly heavy at low speeds making manoeuvrability very difficult especially when trying to park.
A clear sign that the steering rack motor has failed is a lack of communication to diagnostic equipment. This fundamental failure can often lead to long diagnosis and labour times should you or your mechanic not be aware of this inherent common failure with the BMW E90 and E92 steering rack to begin with.

The Ford Focus and C-Max power steering motor and combined module, fitted to the build range 2010 to 2015, is a common failing part. This rack mounted electric power steering motor and module will often fail completely and suddenly leading to a complete loss of power assisted steering. This will cause the steering to become very heavy, requiring the person driving the car to input a lot more effort into the steering wheel, also the warning message: β€˜Power steering fault servi...ce required’ will appear on the dash cluster. When we receive the Focus and C-Max power steering motor and module it is tested using our HIL (Hardware In-the-Loop) vehicle simulators. If the unit fails during these rigorous tests we will strip and rebuild the unit using only the highest grade components. Once this is done the power steering motor and module is retested under our high level quality control environment.

Freelander 2 and Range Rover Evoque turbo actuator problems – causing limp home mode.
This Turbo actuator fitted to Freelander 2 and Range Rover Evoque 2.2L Duratorq engine vehicles will cause restricted performance and an associated limp home mode, poor turbo boost and the constant illumination of the engine management light (EML).
Our rigorous turbo actuator testing will determine the root cause of each individual failure. Each actuator is fully tested using our Hardware In...-the-Loop vehicle simulator which will test under real-world conditions. Once the root cause of failure has been identified our highly skilled technicians will replace all common failing components, we then transfer all calibration and mapping data back into the rebuild turbo actuator. We only use OEM or above rated components, and unlike the factory environment of the manufactures, our quality control is second to none.
Our rebuild option for this turbo actuator will save you over a thousand pounds and provide added peace of mind with our unlimited mile lifetime warranty

The instrument cluster fitted to the (A221) Mercedes S - Class is prone to failure, common symptoms are no LCD screen function, total lack of power up and/or loss of communications when code reading with diagnostics.

User

This instrument cluster from the Seat Toledo is a common failing component causing no or intermittant start up of the vehicle when plugged in via diagnostics you may find there is no or intermmitent comunications to the unit.

This engine ECU is a very common failure for the BMW 116 & 118 Sport/M Sport built from 2011 onward.
Common Failure symptoms: Engine misfiring constantly Loss of power
... Common fault codes: 140001 - Misfire several cylinders fuel injection is switched off 140010 – misfire multiple cylinders detected 140101 - Misfire cylinder 1 injection shut down 140110 – Misfire cylinder 1 140201 - Misfire cylinder 2 fuel injection is switched off 104210 – Misfire cylinder 2 detected 150102 - Ignition cylinder 1 combustion time too short 150202 – Ignition cylinder 2
When the ECU fails it will cause the engine to lose power and misfire on one or more cylinders, with fault codes stored for cylinder misfires and/or injector shutdown. To diagnose a failed ECU check the primary ignition signal supplied to the ignition coil with an oscilloscope, the signal will be weak or not present if the ECU has failed.
The root-cause of the failure is normally due to a faulty ignition coil going short circuit and drawing excessive current through the ECU, this in turn overloads the ignition coil activation circuits within the ECU. Replacing the ignition coil alone will not cure the problem and the shorted-out ECU may even overload the new coil, causing a vicious cycle of Coil-ECU-Coil damage.
It is always best to check for an ignition primary signal to the coil before replacing it, if there is no primary output signal from the ECU then it can be assumed the ECU is damaged, in this instance the ECU fault should be rectified BEFORE fitting a replacement coil to avoid damaging the new coil with a faulty ECU.
If in doubt it is always best to replace the ignition coil with a new one when refitting the rebuilt ECU if you suspect the coil could have been fitted when the ECU was faulty.

Fiat Ducato ABS pump and module malfunction will cause the ABS and engine management warning lights to remain constantly active, and cause a loss of speedo functionality. When diagnosing the vehicle with scan tools a code may be logged in the engine ECU for P0500 – vehicle speed sensor malfunction, however when specifically scanning the ABS module no codes may be found. If a wheel speed sensor is unplugged and the ABS module still shows no fault codes this is a sure sign of internal component failure within the unit.

Vauxhall clutch actuator problems can cause difficulty in changing gear, the β€˜F’ waning to be displayed (or flash) on the gear display and even complete non-start issues.
When the vehicle is interrogated with scan tools a myriad of fault codes may be found including: P1607 - clutch actuator position control error, P1735 - gearbox parameters not learned and P1732 - gearbox parameter limit reached.
We offer a comprehensive test and rebuild service that will cure these issues, and as always we provide an unlimited mile Lifetime Warranty.

I took my wife's 2004 Mini Power Steering Pump to ECU Testing on Friday 16 February for testing and repair. Two and a half working days later (Wednesday 20), it was delivered back to me fully overhauled, super clean and shrink wrapped and was back on the car by 4 o'clock.

I do not think you would find a better service anywhere in the Country. As well as doing a First Class job, they keep you informed at every stage by text and email.

On top of all that, they are really nice people to talk to!

Great service great fast turn around and lovely friendly staff. Was quoted stupid money by vw to replace abs pump. Absolute nonsense. Anyway ECU were a great recommendation and very glad to have used their service. Abs pump came it went straight.in with no faults or problems. ***** A1 Will deffinately use again.

User

Couldn't thank you guys enough.

From how easy it was to send it to you, the updates you gave me during the works done to the unit and how fast it came back to me. Simply 5* without a doubt. thank you soo much!

User

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Absolute rubbish, they told me to fill a form in online with all details. After this at my own cost I posted it off and they phoned me to say they do not repair this type of ECU, but they couldn't tell me this with all the information on the form?? Yet the ECU hasn't been opened so no additional testing has been done. Will not use again.
