One of my clients has had quite a few broken bones in his life, including breaking his ribs twice.
I was putting him through side lift leg series and I could see how hard he is working and how much he is feeling it.
I said: ”I'm sure it was hurting more when you broke your ribs so keep going, you are doing great”
... He looked at me and said: ”Well at least that was accidental”
