Went for late lunch on Saturday afternoon. We hadn’t booked but managed to get a table. Restaurant was busy, lovely atmosphere. We received a warm welcome. We chose from the set menu. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was good. Would definitely recommend and will return

We went last night for my sister's hen do meal and it was fantastic. We had the party menu due to us being a group of 11 and they were very accommodating to the various dietary requirements our party had including gluten free, vegetarians and wheat and egg free which I discussed with the restaurant prior to our meal. Alternative dishes were provided and those of us with these dietary requirements had our own menu telling us what we would be getting which I thought was a lovely touch. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the restaurant and we were all provided with a throughly enjoyable meal. The staff were very attentive throughout the evening. I have been several times for lunch at Escabeche but the rest of my table hadn't visited before and each of us was very impressed with the amount of food and how good it was. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you very much.

We went Christmas Eve for family lunch,17 of us the service was excellent, but most of all the beef and pork melted in your mouth great selection of veg, so a big thanks to the chefs and staff for a fab meal well done would recommend Merry Christmas

Visited Escabeche yesterday for a birthday meal. We were a big party but were taken care of very well! With three gluten free people in the party, we were expecting there to be the usual difficulties with food not being available but there was a really good range and alternatives available too. Service seemed to be just the right pace, we weren't bothered constantly but at the same time we were tended to as and when needed. The party menu was delicious and went down a treat with all the family. We'll definitely be back! :)

Vegan review:



My friend pre booked and informed the restaurant that one of us was vegan so they provided a vegan menu. As there were a group of us it was a set menu.



When we arrived they handed out the menus, mine was handwritten.



For £22 per head, there was so much food! It was tasty, some tomato dishes were very similar tasting but there was enough of a variety for it not to matter.



I also enjoyed a vegan soya hot chocolate which was delicious.



The staff were attentive, the service was great, the food was really good and the portions were huge.



I would recommend it and would eat here again.

Outstanding. Visited yesterday for a birthday meal and I have to say this is the best Tapas I have had in the UK. My wife and I shared the tomato, mozerella & basil flatbread, followed by the cauliflower and cod gratin, falafel, mushroom croquettes, patatas bravas and of course the chorizo. Superb. Looking forward to next time. The only minor dent was that my Aperol Spritz was too watered down, but other than that bravo.

My favourite place to eat in West Bridgford & the best place for Tapas in Nottm in my opinion. Sometimes the service can be a little slow but good food is worth waiting for. The staff are always very friendly & professional. I'll be back again.

Me and my hubby had lunch here yesterday first time . Pleasant atmosphere , lovely staff and service . Chose 6 tapas between us to share which was plenty . Would recommend the potatas bravas and the meatballs and chicken wings . Good value for money too at only £9.95 a head for 3 tapas each . Would definitely go again .

A group of 9 of us booked a table for my birthday on Saturday, and the staff- right from the start were so welcoming and extremely accommodating towards us all, especially considering that 3 out of 9 of us have various food allergies. (Yes we are that annoying table! Sorry) The staff were knowledgeable on every single dish and pointed out what we could and couldn’t eat.



The food was out of this world. The chefs in there do a fantastic job.

Have been a few times but always during the day for the menu del dia. Ordering off the main menu is so hard because there are so many yummy things plus the specials. We did have hake which was a special and it was delicious. The wine is fine and the service good and attentive. Def recommended. Oh and there was live music which we were a little wary of but it was perfect, in the background, not intrusive but loud enough to enjoy

Enjoyed New Years eve here, atmosphere great, staff fantastic nothing too much trouble and the food phenomenal only small criticism was the desserts let it down other than that a thourly enjoyable evening...

Been for tapas many times - yum! Yesterday was the first time I’d been for breakfast and it’s was just as delicious. Nice change to the usual breakfast menus knocking around Nottingham. Thanks you. X

A long awaited visit finally became a reality and we were not disappointed.



Firstly I have to take my hat off to the restaurant for keeping our table as a taxi company let us down bigtime and ended up half an hour late.



We arrived and got taken straight to our table where we ordered a bottle of Chilean merlot to get us started and following instructions and advice from our very helpful waitress; we ordered the following:-

The food was out of this world and kept on coming. Everything tasted great and we will definitely be coming back.

Good atmosphere and lovely food. Had a meal here last night 10th Sep with 3 female friends. We were informed by the waitress that food would come out when prepared as each dish is made and served fresh. I had the buttermilk squid, beef on skewers (cooked rare as described, perfect) and the asparagus and eggs. We all enjoyed our meal and left a good tip.

Food was good and service was good at the bar by Adam -thank you for your good customer service, but when we arrived the host asked if we had booked and I explained that we hadn’t as it didn’t say anything on the website, the response was yes it does, I was really disappointed with that response as it was insinuating I was imaging what I had seen or not seen , and my friend had also been on the website and found the same lack of information. Another tapas place I’ve been to recently doesn’t have a reservation facility and it very clearly states this on their website to avoid conversations like I had on my visit. Also what makes this more disappointing is the fact that a suitable table was vacant the entire time we were eating at the bar and was only seated with a party of 4 as we were leaving, we would have happily vacated this table at the reserved time had it been offered.
