We have been a couple of times now lovely food plenty to keep the kids occupied and play with while they wait for dinner and reasonably priced too. Lovely for a Sunday carvery x

Visited for the first time tonight with a party of 24 celebrating my parents Ruby wedding anniversary. Although you don't allow bookings we was extremely happy with the short wait we had whilst you made sure all our family could be seated together in one area. The food was fabulous and although one meal was slightly cold it was dealt with quickly and a replacement meal was given with no hesitation. A lot of us opted for the carvery and we all enjoyed out meals.. we all commented on how nice the meet was cooked. And the puddings! OMG! It would be worth visiting just for one of them, lol! All the staff you served us was helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou for making our first visit a pleasant one, we will be returning for definitely and we will be recommending you! A*****

Ps, only one thing to complain about and that was the fact the radiators were on near where we was seated, not really needed in this heat! Lol ´┐¢´┐¢

I went here yesterday with my son and daughter_in_law, its a beautiful place, the food was very good and prices was very good also, i fully enjoyed it and i will be coming back on my birthday, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the cakes are to die for so yummy.

I took my son for his birthday yesterday. As soon as I walked in I noticed how clean the establishment was. I was greeted and a table for 15 was sorted straight away: the cake I was holding was swiftly taken off to the kitchen to keep cool. the staff were polite friendly and extremely helpful. The food was hot and fresh. The staff then bought the cake out with candles (IÔÇÖd forgot to buy some!) my youngest son is autistic and there was plenty for him to do. In fact he didnÔÇÖt want to leave! The best children friendly establishment IÔÇÖve been to for a very long time. Highly recommend for a fab family meal experience. If the young man who was waiting on our table 9/10 on 9/5/18 around 7/8pm reads this. I hope you enjoyed your cake. YouÔÇÖre an asset!

I came for the first time tonight with 2 of my children. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly lady as we entered (so sorry but I didn't get her name) and were given a table. I didn't have very high expectations because it was quite late, around 19:30 but I was pleasantly suprised. Food was delicious & more importantly fresh! We were served by such a smiley, chatty man called Sean who was carving the meat & were joined for a quick chat by the chef Rob eho was also friendly! Will definitely return.

First time visit today and food was hot and beautiful.some times I find carverys are not very hot.but not at Holly farm .the staff are all lovely.my husband is disabled and the black gentleman sorry did not catch his name was so helpful will be coming back with the rest of family soon .thank you .

Fantastic very pleasant meal waitress were brilliant service 5 star deffinnateley be back very soonl. first time i went there was with a load of scooter lads and our scooter totally impressed then and we only had a pint was made to feel very welcome they even took photos of our scooters well done to all the the staff my wife loved the food. i dont usually like carverys but got to say i loved it. Will deffo be bring the scooter lad back and the wife. Shame they did put our scooters on there photos page though

Came here for impromptu lunch. Arrived just after 12. Loads of places to sit, chap wiping tables suggested we sat in table for 4 to give us more room. We did. He was very friendly and smiley. We both had small carvery and carver was friendly too. Veg cooked beautifully again. This pub is certainly an asset to this area as we have lost our carvery, the priory (It wasn't very good anyway) and this place has certainly filled its boots. You don't fancy donating a cake for a charity table top sale in aid of Angels Small Paws rescue in September do you? Or even a meal voucher? Keep up the good work :-)

We had a couple of Mixed Grills a few weeks back was outstanding went yesterday 20th of May ordered two more mixed Grills this time it just looked like it had been chucked on the plate fried eggs looked terrible meat was tough and no black pudding even though it states Black Pudding on the menu hard to believe how different the standard was this time round will give it another go and if same poor standard will NOT be going again..

I visit here and kingsmill a lot for breakfast carvery and cake which I have highly recommended. I went last night and it's the first time I've ever been disappointed with the food. My Yorkshire pudding was solid I couldn't even cut it. Everything was either under cooked or over cooked. Your cake cabinet needs a refresh. Kingsmill have a large variety to choose from where yours is rather boring if I'm honest. I left without one for the first time ever. If my breakfast is not up to standard next time then I'll be travelling back to kingsmill I'm afraid !!!

Carrots tasted perfumy not right. Broccoli was heat and hard and kids normally eat this all.think they rush the food out a bit before cooked as so busy Extra pound for adults pigs in blankets only they had no blankets. Kids get all meats. Meat was nice. No peas. Green beans Brussels or normally cauli. Kids get ice cream with their carvery so was ok. Toilets was a shit hole. Shit and that everywhere. Cleaners non existent. Told staff was finished. Took plates and left is sat at dirty table. All got headphones like communication is good. But there is none.

Overall. WonÔÇÖt be back here next week :)

It's okay I guess if you like waiting to order your food in around 30 mins and when you do get to the carvery section - the chap cutting the meat up is dripping sweat over the meats...

I was very disappointed! My partner and I went for lunch we was plonked in a section that was so hot and stuffy no air con no fans no windows open we ordered 2 standard carvery's where I almost burnt myself several times on the tongues they use to pick up the food with, I'm so glad I decided not to take my daughter as she was at her aunties - the whole visit was so uncomfortable I was so hot I couldn't finish my food what a waste of money!!!!

I ordered a sfc bloomer sandwich. It was ok but the bread was normal sliced bread, not bloomer bread. Plus some of the ÔÇİsaladÔÇÖ (just lettuce) was brown and well past itÔÇÖs best. My sister wanted the chicken tikka masala but it was off the menu.

I was really looking forward to a cream cake but my sister had one a few weeks ago and said it was not real cream so I didnÔÇÖt bother. You canÔÇÖt have a cream cake if itÔÇÖs not real cream!

I came here with my family. My mum is vegetarian. The selection of veggy food is laughable. They were out of her first and second choice so she ended up going for her third choice which was really the only option. I find it quite disgraceful that on a Friday night, they're out of veggy food!

Came here for lunch today and was really disappointed. We arrived at 10 to 1 on our lunch break as a table of 4. When we had ordered a waitress came and asked if we wanted all the food bringing out together as one had ordered a starter to which we replied that yes we wanted everything together. 20 minutes later a plate of nachos (the starter) turned up with nothing else. After waiting 15 minutes with still no sign of any other food 1 of our party asked the manager where it was. 10 minutes later my meal turned up (a tuna melt) but once again was on its own, 10/15 minutes pass before the next meal finally turned up and still no sign of the final meal (jacket potato with cheese and beans so nothing too difficult) 10 minutes later the manager pops by and asked if we are still waiting on one and said she would check where it was 10 minutes after this (over an hour after it was ordered) the jacket potato finally arrived. Not once did any of the staff apologise for the delay or the fact that we all ended up eating separately because despite being asked if we wanted all the food at the same time none of the meals arrived together. Even when the waitress was asking if she could take 2 of our plates when she had only just arrived with the final meal there was no apology. Very poor.

After being recommended to go here for breakfast we went this morning, breakfast was mediocre at best, bacon was so over cooked you could have soled your shoes with it, scrambled egg looked like it had been sat there for hours, had gone a funny colour and the beans looked so dry I didn't even try them but my partner did and said they were dry, no choice of milk, semi skimmed and that's it, need to have a choice, attracted by the price but disappointed, won't be back I'm afraid

Well where do I start. A shambles from start to finish. We arrived at 12.15 for lunch. My partner had gammon (He wanted a mix grill but was told they were out of mix grills), our son had fish fingers and I had a carvery. I went to get my carvery to be told there was a 20-30 minute wait for roast potatoes. Rediculous but I waited. Then the rest of the food came out. My partners gammon was cold, his chips were cold and my son's fish fingers didn't look anything like fish fingers. They were greasy fish bits that you would expect from a chippy. Safe to say neither of them ate their lunch. As their food arrived i went and stood in the carvery queue and waited to be served. I wish I hadn't chosen a carvery. A gentleman in front of me asked for Turkey. He had the last bit. As it was put on his plate the black bit from the bone was still attached. To which the carver told him "if you don't want that bit you'll have to remove it yourself. It will take me too long". Good grief. I couldn't believe my ears. As it was the last bit of Turkey I was asked to wait (even though I didn't want turkey). Once he had a new Turkey he then asked me what I wanted. Gammon was all I wanted and to eat my lunch with my family. The carvery itself was as bad as my partners and sons food. You could have broken windows with the carrots. Very undercooked. There was no cauliflour cheese. The gravy had the most lumps I'd ever seen. Every body commented on it. The best part of the meal was the roast potatoes. The potatoes that I'd had to wait half an hour for. By the time I sat down to eat, it was safe to say I was eating alone. Neither my partner or son wanted to eat anything else. We will not be returning and will be advising anyone else to avoid if they don't want to be disappointed.

Visited for breakfast, food was of good quality but I was appalled and alarmed to find that all the tables were piled high with previous customers dirty crockery/utensils. Asked counter staff for the tables to be wiped and cleared for myself and other new customers..The replied was we have no available staff.. I told the girl, you're really not expecting me to clean my own table..Eventually somebody did clear one table for my guest and I...Staff attitude and service is unacceptable, unprofessional, and most certainly off putting.
