Our three hour workshop will give you an introduction into jewellery making using the fabulous material of Precious Metal (Silver) Clay.
Silver clay is made up of very fine particles of pure silver, water and a non –toxic, organic binder. When your piece is fired, the binder burns away, leaving you with pure solid fine silver.
Guided by your instructor you’ll learn the basics of working with silver clay, how to handle it, roll, shape, and texture it, before drying and refinin...g, then onto torch firing, polishing and finally learning how to patina.
You will create one or two pieces, and they will be ready to take home with you on the day!
The workshop cost of £65 includes silver clay, use of tools on the day, sterling silver jump rings, printed notes to take home and of course, tea / coffee and biscuits.
You may get a little dusty, so ensure that you wear old clothes or bring an overall.
This workshop is perfect for those with no experience of working with silver clay.

Fabulous workshop yesterday with Jacky and Marion! They both made two gorgeous pendants!
Marion had such a lovely idea for her pendants. Each pendant has a message/slogan on that can only be read in front of a mirror, as the writing is reversed!
