Thanks very much to Ann, Jackie and Wendy for replying to #FileyLibrary on our "many happy returns" day poser. Thanks Jackie also for mentioning that he wasn't just known as "Nicholas Rhea." Sadly Peter Walker died in 2017. Of his over 100 published books, some are available now for download from www.northyorks.gov.uk/digital-library.

The current #FileyLibrary building was opened on the 11 April 1995. The digital version of #FileyBayToday featured the 1933 photo of the originals building. Had enough of quizzes (?! ), can anyone remember who opened the Library in 1995?

Answer three: Cuckoo, and fox... The rabbit, or bunny, became a part of the Easter tradition in Protestant areas in Europe in the 17th century. By the 19th century the rabbit was common throughout Easter celebrations. The Easter rabbit was said to lay eggs and then decorate and hide them.

Answer one: From the library ‘browse, reserve, renew page’, there is a box on the bottom left titled “Reading Inspirations”. Here you will find ‘Fantastic Fiction’ to find all books by that author, or ‘Who else writes like’ to find similar authors. Cross reference to the digital catalogue to find e-book versions.
