The city's rivers, lakes and ponds can be dangerous places to play. Please stay safe and only swim at lifeguarded sessions. #tellyourchildren #besafe #watersafety https://goo.gl/VUVVqS

📣Open water can look inviting, especially when it's hot, but PLEASE be sensible, and stay safe around our rivers, lakes and ponds this summer. #tellyourchildren #besafe #watersafety https://goo.gl/9bSY7v

📣We're honoured to support this important, historically significant, fundraiser by sharing it with you all.
Over 14,000 local lives were lost during the first World War and families still remember to this day ❤️
This War Memorial will incorporate a full list of casualties for the whole county in one place and will become a focal point for remembrance for generations to come.

just one or 2 problems: The ride prices going up when it got dark, and goose fair should introduce a wristband scheme for the rides. I'm pretty sure i won't be the only one willing to cough up £40 for 5 days of fun!

User

My little boy absolutely loved all the rides, lights and music! The prices were reasonable and we had a fab time! The only thing was the lack of toilets, they are either poorly sign posted or there is a lack of them around the park :)

User

It is better now that is has been re-camped and lots of people are making good use of it. Two good parks and an outside Gym area. The new football pitches are great. Will need a permanent running track too.

User

First time in many many years but with our children aged 7 & 4. Only went on one ride but they enjoyed taking in the sights and playing on a few stall games. Will definetly go next year and get them on more rides

User

Been going to Goose Fair all my life. It's ok if you enjoy that type of thing but food and rides are over priced. Good location and transport links

User

Kids firework display was very poor, then we had to wait ages in the freezing cold for them to light the bonfire. By the time they did we couldn't stand it any more and left. Never again :-(
