Scrummy specials at Forget Me Not cafe this week.

We are pleased to announce that Jo has been promoted to Deputy Manager. Thanks for all your hard work Jo.

Salad specials this week is: mojito chicken or prosciutto and mozzarella both served with sun-dried tomato and pepper bloomer.

Sandwich of the week - Halloumi, avocado and sweet chilli, try in a deli roll, wrap or white/malted bloomer - gorgeous.

It's scorching! While there are plenty of things you can do to cool down what you eat can actually keep you cooler and help protect against sun damage. Cucumber - Cucumber contains mostly water, which helps your skin to stay hydrated. The vegetable also helps to produce collagen, which is a good anti-cancer property.
Tomatoes - Tomatoes are one of the top sun protection superfoods. All types of tomatoes are full of antioxidants that help to protect your skin from UV-radiatio...n. The vitamin C and the lycopene found in tomatoes help to keep the skin hydrated and fight free radicals.
Carrots - Carrots are another sun fighting power food. The beta-carotene in carrots, which the body converts to vitamin A, has been linked to reduce reaction to sunburn. Try to eat a few carrots a day. Cut them in sticks and eat them with guacamole, which is high in omega-3 fatty acids and helps to reduce the risk of sunburn and develop an even skin tone.
Pomegranate - This fruit is extremely rich in antioxidants, ellagic acid and has anti-inflammatory agents, which can help your skin to resists cell damaged caused by UVA and UVB rays. Pomegranate has been proven to be beneficial to our health and fighting against ageing and sun-damaged skin.
Watermelon - This fruit works just like tomatoes. It is rich in antioxidants, which limit the UV-radiation on your body. It is also full of water so eat three to four slices a day to stay hydrated during the warm summer months. However, don’t overeat as the sugar may increase the blood sugar levels.
Strawberries - Eat a lot of vitamin C-rich berries and fruits such as strawberries, blackberries and kiwi during the summer months. The vitamin C and the phytonutrient act like a natural sunblock and helps to prevent you from burning. A 100-gram of strawberries and 1.5 kiwis cover your daily need of vitamin C. You can eat a lot of fruits each day, but I would suggest eating them with other foods that will limit the sugar uptake.

What a lovely cafe, delicious sandwiches, fantastic cakes and I love the smoothies, braved a kale and spinach one today, don't know what I was waiting for!! The staff are very friendly and cater to the little ones too.

Well what can I say great food great staff and verry relaxing enjoyed every minute kids loved it they could not be more helpful if you need anything most of all clean and tidy great family place I now go there 3 or 4 times a week Carnt fault it in any way would recommend to anybody to try it you won't be disappointed thanks to all the staff and the lovely owner jenni �

We used Jeni and the team for our son's birthday party at the community centre. The food was lovely, great quality and fantastic value for money. Jeni did a fantastic job of getting everything set up too. I couldn't speak more highly of their service.

Visited yesterday with 2 big dogs. There was no outdoor seating as it wasn't a nice day. However, a table & 4 chairs appeared for me & 4 offers of a dog bowl. My coffee was a tasty blend & the carrot cake full of sultanas & walnuts - so big a slice that I brought half of it home in a take away box! Lovely looking food & very friendly staff.

Pleasant atmosphere, lovely food. Jess, Jo and Sharron were very friendly and happy to help!

Lovely! The best bacon and egg sandwich ever! Fresh, tasty and fast. Will definitely be back, smoothie next time!

It’s like the hub of the new Community Centre and you’re sure of a welcome from the staff there. There is plenty of free parking outside and level access for the disabled.



The menu has choice enough for anyone and the breakfasts always seem popular and very tempting.



I must say the Cafe is a welcome addition to the village and is well worth a visit.

I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all at ‘Forget Me Not’ Cafe for their amazing efforts for our event last Saturday. A special thank you to Sharon Bell who worked tirelessly throughout the evening to make sure the event ran as slick as possible. The cupcakes made by the staff were amazing and the organisation of the event, thanks to Sharon was really professional. The venue is fabulous for a special event and I can not recommend it highly enough, especially with the backing of the wonderful team at the cafe!!! Looking forward to booking our next event! I used Choice catering (Forget me not cafe) for the hot food for our daughters christening party. Jeni was so helpful from start to finish taking away all the usual stress of arranging a big party! The food was delicious and all the guests were complimenting the food. Service was brilliant and Jeni went out her way to check if I needed anything doing or the cake cutting etc. I will use again! Forget me not is a cafe with a warm welcome and a friendly face and the food is amazing. Jeni is a professional caterer and always serves food she is passionate about. Loads of free parking at Moulton Community Centre as well.

First visit to the cafe, lovely friendly staff and a delicious bacon and egg sandwich, myself and my daughter tried a smoothie, wow they are so nice! Will be back soon to try all the other flavours�

Come here about once a month with a book club to talk over coffee. It’s a very relaxing cafe and I tried the food for the first time today. The avocado smash was delicious.

Came today with my little ones for a coffee and some cake. The carrot and the coffee and walnut cakes were amazing. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Jenni ��

Amazing breakfast just what you need on a rainy day. Great value for money and you can make it as big or as small as you want. Beautiful sausages and bacon. Will be back.

After a stressful day it was a pleasure to enjoy a very late lunch at Forget Me Not. Beautifully presented cafe, friendly staff, masses of free parking, with a delicious menu. Fab choice of home made cakes too! We will certainly be back soon.

We enjoyed looking round the adjoining brand new library and the library gift shop before we left.

Please head to the right of the library as signs are yet to go up. Very well worth a visit!
