ANNOUNCEMENT
Sam Harrison, Owner of FOURTEEN Restaurant, Waltham has today announced the change of ownership of FOURTEEN which is to become known as the “ITALIAN AFFAIR”
Sam said “This has been a difficult decision, as for the last 4 years working with my business partners, suppliers but most of all my loyal customers, has been the most amazing journey.
... The business that we took over in 2012 has changed beyond recognition with a full refurbishment of the whole building and the outside areas coupled with the outstanding quality of our food has seen our reputation soar with two TripAdvisor certificates being awarded during our time here.
Whilst this has been a difficult decision for me and my family we are sure that the ITALIAN AFFAIR will continue to meet and exceed customer expectations.
One of the key reasons we have reached an agreement with ITALIAN AFFAIR is that ALL our Christmas bookings will be honoured so we have ensured there will be many more happy nights for our loyal customers to celebrate this festive period.
May I take this opportunity to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting myself, my family and also my dream. We could not have achieved what we have in the last four years if it wasn’t for you. I have not only met customers along the way, I have gained true friends and memories that will last a lifetime.”

Went for the 1st time today and I will definitely be returning. Gorgeous and Fabulous fresh cooked food. Sam and his team were really helpful.

We had an amazing time tonight. The atmosphere was the lovely. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The food really was amazing and the best I've had in a long long time. We really can't fault Sam and the team enough for a lovely night xxxx

We had a fantastic meal last night, the food was excellent. The spam and monk fish starters are fab! Lovely, friendly staff, would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Today at lunch time my friend and I took advantage of the 2 course pensioner special for £7.95. This is served every Friday from 12 until 3pm.

The food was amazing, superbly cooked by Allen and served by Sam. Highly recommend, so come on all you lovely Facebook people support this fabulous restaurant, lots of special nights, well worth a visit xx

Spent a very special evening with my youngest daughter to celebrate her 21st with the rest of my family last night. What can I say other than thank you Fourteen for making a special night even better by your exceptional service and friendly staff. Please send my best to your chef for some of the best food we have had in a long time. We will all definitely be back, sooner rather than later

Only just stopped after xmas lol really wanted to thank you sam and all the staff for making our wedding day so wonderful you went above and beyond for us and made our day amazing with wonderful memories the food the setting everything was wonderful :) thank you

My husband and I went here last night to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived it was explained to us that the regular chef was off poorly and someone had stepped in to cover with a limited menu, at this point we were told we were free to eat elsewhere if we chose to. We opted to stay, a good decision! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Just been for the Mother's Day lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault one thing about it. The meat was beyond succulent and the choice of veg was brill and fresh and to end a lovely meal the mothers were given tulips. Will definitely be back. 5 star food and service.

Had the most wonderful meal last night. The crab starter was amazing and my steak was cooked to perfection finished off with a lovely brownie. The staff are wonderful and would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Had a meal a few weeks ago and it was delicious. The ribs were the best I've ever had!! Been again tonight for tapas.....6 dishes plus drinks for 2 people for £20!!! Absolutely delicious and we were all really full. Will definitely be back!

First time visiting here last night, I had a lovely meal for my 21st birthday.. The food was delicious, lovely atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back again!

Fabulous food, Fabulous atmosphere and fabulous staff. We had a wonderful evening celebrating my niece's 16th Birthday last night. Thank you everyone for marketing the evening so special. We will definitely be back xx

FANTASTIC! Could not fault anything about the whole evening There were 12 of us, so varying dishes, Salmon, Pasta, Ribs, Duck, Chicken everything was beautifully presented! Vegetables Perfectly cooked, even the chips were spot on! Everything piping hot! one little blip & it was sorted in two minutes literally! Wonderful! The staff were very polite & attentive nothing was too much trouble & not only did the food look beautiful it tasted exquisite! PERFECT! Thank You Fourteen we will return! as a group we had a coffee morning here & the cakes & service was just the same!

Ate in here last Saturday night as a spur of the moment date night and what a bloody good decision !!



Food was absolutely amazing so tasty and fantastically presented ! Wine was delicious , service was brilliant and even the music was enjoyable !!



The chef coming to check our meals were okay was also a nice touch!!

Another perfect meal last night. Every course cooked to perfection. I would recommend the scallops followed by pork belly followed by cheesecake(which we shared because no one could manage a full one). Friends chose other things and were equally pleased.

Another lovely meal. We went for my son's birthday, Sam even put a birthday balloon on the table, and realised he had been to see Stone Roses at the weekend, so he played some of their tracks on his music system as we sat down (extremely thoughtful) excellent customer service, also lovely decking and seating area for the summer nights!, Thank you Sam.

Amazing meal for my 30th birthday; smoked haddock scotch egg- pork and creme brûlée complete with candles. Wonderful food, wonderful service. Thanks very much
