Franklin College Adult Learning Description

Learning isn't just for the young, that’s why Franklin College offer a range of part time courses for anyone of any age and ability.

We aim to help you take a step towards to a better career, earning the right qualifications in areas of your choice.

We offer various courses, from Spanish for Beginners to Preparation to Work in schools; all with the option and opportunity of progressing onto higher qualifications.

The courses are held across the area and are mainly within the evenings, as we appreciate the need of flexibility to our learners who may have other commitments.

We have a new part-time ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) course starting at Franklin College on Tuesday 5th February, 9.30am-11.30am. 18 weeks, all levels catered for. £180 (free to those on benefits or low income).

We have a brand new Maths functional skills class starting at the Nunsthorpe Family Hub, Sutcliffe Avenue, Grimsby tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1pm. The course is free and caters to all levels. Maths and English functional skills qualifications are crucial to progressing in life and work. Don't delay, come along and meet the teacher Sheila and join the class.

Enrolling at The Nunsthorpe Family Hub, Sutcliffe Avenue for our part-time courses tomorrow (Friday) 9am-10.30am. English, maths, bookkeeping L1, supporting in schools and some distance learning courses. Come along for advice or to enrol.

Are you interested in working in a school? Our Level 2 Award in Supporting in Schools and Colleges may be the course for you. It starts next Thursday 17th January at Nunsthorpe Family Hub on Sutcliffe Avenue (9.30am-11.30am). Get in touch to find out more. Cost is £250 for 21 weeks, 2 hours per week. Those earning less than £15736 per annum or on certain benefits will not have to pay. Please tag your friends who may be interested.

Our AAT L2 Bookkeeping course starts on Tuesday 18th September 5pm-7.30pm. The cost of the course to full fee payers is £400.
