Art has cooked for a host of celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Lady GaGa, and Michelle Obama to name a few and has renowned restaurants all over America, also having recently opened one of the most successful restaurants in Disney Springs. This beautiful bespoke kitchen has been purposely built for a cookery school Art has founded for a tuition-free coo...king school in Madison for children of all ages, transmitted all over America.
The house was built in the early 1860’s and Art was keen to keep in with the characteristic of the house when designing the kitchen. The kitchen was made and painted here in our workshop in Staverton, then shipped over to Madison for our guys to fit. Its features a bespoke solid pine dresser, island and painted pantry larder and fitted furniture all painted by our specialist painters, all complimented with antiqued zinc and honed black granite worksurfaces with a solid copper sink bought together with our bespoke antique handles and knobs for a very happy chef.

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Office Manager with book keeping or accounts experience to start at the end of July. Fraser James is a small family run furniture business so you will need to be able to muck in and do tasks such as filing and answering the main line as required.... This role requires someone with extensive knowledge of all aspects of Office management as it is a varied role covering all the back-office business functions.
Main duties will include: - Payroll preparation (in conjunction with our Accountants) - Sales & Purchase Ledger management - Bank reconciliation - Credit card reconciliation - VAT reconciliation (in conjunction with our Accountants) - Human Resources management – Holiday/Sickness records, new starter inductions, company health cash plan management, (also to include management of new company pension set up, currently in progress with outsourced agency) - Management report generation (Creditors/Debtors lists, HR Updates) - Accommodation and subsistence management - Apprentice management - Health & Safety supervising - Vehicle management (Insurance, tax, and maintenance)
Other duties may include: - Additional support to the CEO and Senior Project Manager with Project Administrator - Social Secretary – organisation of Christmas parties and other social functions with Project Administrator - Quotation generation - Support to the Project Administrator during busy periods - Additional other project work for CEO as required
The company runs with web based KashFlow accounting and BreatheHR as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word) so some familiarity with these packages would be advantageous but not essential. You will need to have a good level of education and have good Maths and English skills for this role and be a good communicator both orally and in written skills.

***Bench joiner & Apprentice vacancies at Fraser James Furniture***
Due to increased workload and exciting new projects we are currently looking to recruit two new members of staff.
Fraser James is looking to recruit an experienced qualified Bench Joiner to work in our workshops in Staverton. We are looking for someone who can complete work in a timely manner to the highest standard in line with our project deadlines with a varied skill set in woodworking who is able to work... on an individual basis or within a team structure. A good level of communication skills is required for working with colleagues and communicating with clients as and when required.
We are also looking for a new apprentice to join the team this position would suit a school leaver this summer or someone who already has a college placement and is looking for a position to support their training. The ideal candidate would have an interest in woodwork / cabinet making as the role will involve working in the workshop and an element of going out on site fitting furniture at customers homes, with the fitting team. Applicant must be able to communicate with confidence and should be able to show a professional attitude while representing Fraser James at all times.
The role will be based out of our workshops in Staverton so transport to and from Staverton would be beneficial due to our rural location.
Successful applicants will be interviewed at our Fraser James workshops in Staverton by Tom Ive, Workshop Foreman and John Hook, Senior Project Manager.

We met Pete Brady after a friend recommended Fraser James to us and we had a couple of design meetings before visiting their workshop and several sites where they had installed kitchens. We loved what we saw and all the customers we spoke to were delighted with the installation, workmanship and finished product from Fraser James. I think what sealed it for us were the customer comments like "Nothing is too much trouble for FJ, if necessary they will come back months and even years later to sort any issues with the kitchen" What a great service!!
Pete listened to our long list of ideas and plans, we were keen for a huge island in the middle of the room with plenty of storage and seating. The installation went smoothly, John Hook and his team of guys did an excellent job and really cared about getting every detail right. We even added a few extras during the installation, a bespoke drawer insert for herbs & spices, thanks to Dion and some last minute vegetable baskets which we realised we needed, nothing was too much trouble. They were just focused on us getting exactly what we wanted and being 100% happy with the kitchen.

With a wonderful mix of stunning Sub-zero and Wolf appliances, 70mm thick concrete worktops with a simplistic white panted finish with solid oak rustic pantry and fridge surround along with some handmade Armac Martin handles with a lovely limestone floor completed this stunning project for a repeat client who we have now completed three separate kitchens for spanning over the past 10 years.

Using Farrow and Ball Pointing to wall units and Little Greene’s paint company Juniper Ash to island, base units and fridge set up. Complimented with chrome knobs and bow handles and stunning Carrera Veneto granite work surfaces and splash-back behind range cooker. All gelled and brought together to produce this stunning project. A recently completed gorgeous kitchen for a wonderful client in Bedfordshire. We have incorporated a mixture of Farrow and Ball colours using Pelt for the island and Pavilion Gray for the rest of the furniture with some lovely polished chrome cup handles and knobs with some soft plinth lighting, finished off with solid oak breakfast bar and Frosty Carina Caesarstone worksurfaces all complimented with some stunning light fittings over the island which produces this wonderful overall effect for this large kitchen/family room.
