Friends of John Clifford AGM - Monday 2nd July 2018
Come along and help us elect our committee for the academic year 2018-2019. We will also be discussing feedback and thoughts on our recent summer fair as well as enjoying tea and cake. 6:30 pm on Monday in the school Community Room - all welcome! Γ¤Ï≡ƒ‗¬≡ƒÔé

Thank you everyone who came and helped out or donated something at this year's Summer Fair! We couldn't do it without you!
We hope you all had a great time and enjoyed yourselves. We'll update with how much was raised once it's all be added up.
In the meantime let us know your favourite bits below. Was it the sell out tombola, awesome performances, scrummy food or the superb facepainting?!

Summer Fair!!

It's the Summer Fair on Saturday! Who's coming? We can't wait to see you all and the brilliant performances from the children! Please keep the tombola donations coming in and don't forget to bring a cake on Friday morning for the cake stall- if you've got a cake tin please label it with your child's name and class so we can get it back to you. Did we mention the Prosecco Van is coming as well as the Boat and Horses pub! It's going to be a corker of a day! ≡ƒ‗³≡ƒ‗╣≡ƒîÛ≡ƒÀê≡ƒ‗Ë≡ƒ‗░≡ƒÀ´≡ƒÉ¨

We already have a fantastic team of 88 for the Robin Hood mini marathon on 30th September. I will be registering our team on Monday 21st May, so if anyone would still like to join us but hasn't returned the form yet, please could you bring it into school on Monday morning. Thank you! ≡ƒ§âΓÇ‗ΓÔÇ∩╕§≡ƒ§âΓÇ‗ΓÔé∩╕§

Would your child like to have a go at designing the official t-shirt for the Robin Hood mini marathon in September? The event organisers are running a competition for 4 to 16 year olds to create a simple design that could be printed in white on a red background. (See the photo of last year's t-shirts for an example!) The entry form can be found here: http://www.robinhoodhalfmarathon.co.uk/ΓÇ ³/tshirt-competitionΓdz Completed forms need to be scanned and emailed back to the event organisers by 31st May. If you are unable to print the form off yourself, we have a few available to pick up from the school office. Also if you are unable to scan the completed form, we can do this for you but please bring forms back to school by Wednesday 23rd May so we can email them off before the half term break. Following the popularity of our coffee and cake morning back in September, we will be holding another one next week on Friday 9th March from 9 till 10 a.m. All parents and carers welcome to pop into the community room after dropping your child off. I attended the open day as a stall holder and the staff, public and atmosphere was lovely. Seems like a really popular school with lots of events etc with the kids and local area in mind.
