Fabulous result for Neo today at the British Youth Championship Qualifiers for the East Midlands where he won a Silver medal and qualified for the British Youth Championship finals in Sheffield in May!
A great day was had at Uppingham school on Sunday 11th of March where our young fencers won 3 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze.
Congratulations to Neo who won the East Midlands Intermediate Epee Championship on February 3rd. He also came 6th in the Elite Epee Junior Series (under 14 boys) second event at Moulton College in Northants on February 17th. This puts him in 7th place in the under 15 England national rankings.
Fun night at Melton Mencap and Gateway. Fantastic fencing and lots of laughs had by all. We love coaching here!
Congratulations to Louis from Five Boroughs Pentathlon Club for a great performance at The English Youth Championships today!
Huge congratulations to Oliva Hooper from Five Boroughs Pentathlon Club who has just become Under 13 British Youth Champion at the British Pentathlon Championships! Fantastic result!
Fantastic results from the British Veterans Age Groups. Sylvia won Gold in Epee, Bronze in Foil and 4th in Sabre, which means she has qualified for the Worlds in all 3 weapons. Well done also to Malcolm who was rightly very pleased with his 7th place in the Epee after quite a time out of competitive fencing!
Congratulations to Louis Taiwo-Williams for winning bronze at the LPJS Canterbury this last weekend!
Huge congratulations to Sylvia Brown, who competed in the 13th European Individual Fencing Championships in Porec Croatia, from May 14th-17th. Sylvia fenced in the Women's Foil, Epee and Sabre finishing 6th, 6th and 5th respectively, the highest placed GBR fencer in all of her three categories.
Just a reminder that as it is a Bank Holiday there is no fencing tonight. See you all next week.
