Finlog Developments Limited is creating the most sustainable park of 59 Finnish solid log holiday homes set within the 100 acre beautiful Frisby Lakes Lodge Park; which has been named as one of the most environmentally friendly places to own a holiday lodge in the UK, having been awarded a most prestigious Gold in the David Bellamy Conservation Award scheme, run by the BH& HPA. This is a truly exciting opportunity for both Finlog and prospective clients as all the log lodges are bespoke and will be built using the most up to date insulation materials and systems available.
These unique log homes are built to BS3632 and nestle in to the natural beauty of the lakes, woodlands and riverbanks. The groundworks are in place for the first phase of the development with stunning lake view plots still available. Each lodge is built to order and you can chose from one of our many lodge designs or work with us to create your own. The standard of workmanship throughout the lodge will be extremely high and many traditional craftsman’s skills are used in the building process. Unlike standard park homes which depreciate as soon as they are sited on a park, Finlog – Finnish Log Lodges are built with a full 10 year manufacturer’s warranty and have the potential to appreciate in value as house prices in the area continue to increase.

Melton Mowbray is renowned as the Rural Food Capital and is just 3 miles from the park, which is situated between the villages of Frisby on the Wreake and Asfordby. There is a lot to do with beautiful lakeside walks, nature trails, picnic spots and fishing in either of the two mature well-stocked specimen lakes (36 acres & 18 acres). Took a nice walk around the lake today with the dog. Saw a kingfisher unfortunately it was too fast for me yet again but iv seen him 3 times this week so tomorrow might be the day 🤞🤞
Following another great open day when we confirmed two more orders, we had a lovely relaxing day on the lake and a picnic with our family. Look out for our next open day in around 4-5 weeks.

Well that was hard work in this heat! The first of the picnic huts logs are in position. Just the roof now! Looking forward to many happy BBQs and picnics overlooking the lakes, sundowners and celebrations.
A massive thank you to everyone for making this weekend the most successful ever, it was lovely to meet some great new people, and to welcome them to our little bit if paradise, thanks to everyone who helped the weekend go so well. A great finish with our four coat paint system, expertly applied by our in house team led by Dan. Internal clear was used with Middleyard exterior in semi gloss to give a nice satin finish. If your interested in Log Buildings we have 5 acres of buildings at our Lodge park near Melton Mowbray.

What a lovely afternoon spent messing about in the river! Dog training, keeping fit and cooling off, what a wonderful place this is!!
