The lovely chaps from Long Buckby Rugby Club wish all the mum's a very happy mother's day!

It's not long until Mother's Day! I'm holding a craft afternoon at The Old Kings Head for children to come along & make a lovely gift for their mum. Children are creating while their mum, Dad, grandparent, child minder are given cake & coffee.Younger children can be booked in if you let me know their age so craft can be suitable. There is so much plastic waste in floristry. Every bunch is wrapped in cellophane. Ribbons and oasis (the green stuff that keeps flowers alive...not the band) are all non degradable. I am going to try and be an environmentally friendly florist (as much as I can). I am now buying degradable oasis and my flowers will be wrapped in paper with natural bows. It's a small thing but if we all did a small thing it gets bigger.

The last bouquet is on its way to be delivered for today & I'm pleased to say that our village isn't full of dicks! It's full of lovely romantic peeps. As I'm a bit 'red rosed out' I've treated myself to this beauty. Sums my hubby up 😘

I now have my 1st delivery of christmas trees. They are Nordman firs, freshly cut today. They range from £30 to £50 and I can deliver locally. I also have traditional Christmas trees, grown in Barby which are a bargain at £20 & £30. Pop in to choose or message me.
