Update: The card machines are now all working as usual!
Due to issues beyond our control it's Cash only in the stores at Warhammer World at the moment, but Bugman's Bar can take card payments for food and drink still.
We've been told that the problem will be looked into today, so we'll let you know when things change.

On Monday 6th August tickets will go on sale for the next Warhammer World events and there's some exciting news for Age of Sigmar players - we're running a Doubles Tournament on 27th/28th October!
This will be the second Doubles event we have run for Age of Sigmar; the last one was an absolute blast, and a sell out at that. It's a great chance to get involved with Age of Sigmar as you only need a 1,000 point army per player. Then you get to fight side-by-side with a friend in the glorious surroundings of Warhammer World!
Tickets will go on sale at 8am on Monday 6th August, but in the meantime have a read of the event pack and start planning all those interesting army builds with you and your team-mate. You can find it here: https://warhammerworld.games-workshop.com /warhammer-age-of…/

Later today part of the Warhammer World Exhibition is having a photoshoot!
This means that Exhibition area 1, the Warhammer Age of Sigmar room, will be closed from 5.00pm on July 31st.
All other areas will stay open as usual.

The Gates Of Sharrowmourne is the newest diorama in the Warhammer World Exhibition centre, and it's our choice for a close up this week - because there is just so much going on in it!
A lot of Sigmarite Mausoleum kits were used across the diorama, and the Warhammer World Studio Team carefully twisted the gates with a pair of pliers (very carefully!). This is a great 'tweak' if you want your scenery to feel like something has escaped, even if you don't show the Glaivewraith Stalkers or Grimghast Reapers themselves.
Find out more about this diorama here: https://warhammerworld.games-workshop.com /…/new-diorama-th…/

We visited Warhammer World in April. The team was very friendly, we are Spanish, we spoke a little bit of English, but the team made an effort to understand us and they even told us some things in Spanish. They are a great team. The museum is great and the Bugmans tavern obligatory.

User

Was expecting a great deal after reading a bit about the place on FB and other, but nothing could have prepaired me for the real thing. If you’ve ever tried assemblying and painting these little figures yourself you’ll know the time and effort that’s been put in on all these pieces. It is amazing!!! The entrence fee is a bit much but I’ll asure you, you will never see anything like it...I am overwelmed!

User

Warhammer world was amazing. I was traveling from Tennessee and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Key shout out to Joe and Adam who made me feel welcome and chatted with me for a long time about GW games and other things. Everything is top notch. Make sure you go through the exhibits they are utterly outstanding. If you are in the UK you need to make an effort to visit. Top notch. My pockets are quite a bit lighter but it was an unbelievable experience.

User

This is my second time to Warhammer World and it was an even better experience than the first. The staff at Citadel and Forge World are courteous and attentive. I actually got to play this time and it was wonderful. The only hang up is I would like the option to post on the Warhammer Wold facebook page to try and organize a game. I came from the U.S. and I feel the ability to post that you are looking for a game would be easier on their facebook page. Rather than posting to The myriad of facebook groups for warhammer. Cheers!

My husband and I were on hunny moon last week and was the plan to go here on the Thursday and Saturday for the New Year open day. We ended up here every day and had a fantastic time. Was my first time to play warhammer we played AOG and I loved it. The staff were amazing so polite and extremely helpful they made us feel so welcome, even greeted us by first names every time (Sam went above and beyond to help us) Such a lovely atmosphere here relaxed and everyone is so friendly from staff to other visitors.

User

It’s a great, friendly atmosphere for lots of like minded individuals & newcomers alike. The tables are fantastically made up so your games are fully thematic. Bugmans bar is brilliant with some good, reasonably priced food & drink. And then of course there’s the shops where you can feed your habit until your wallet screams blue murder you

User

I was the girlfriend following her boyfriend to his version of Disney World, I don't know much about this world but I enjoyed my day. Really liked seeing all the models and the exhibition, was determined to find the assassin but no luck. A shame the age of sigmar room was shut because I did want to see that but it happens, I'm sure we'll be back. We had lunch in Bugmans and really enjoyed it. Think it was about 3 hours we were there in total so a good little day out

User

I visited with zero knowledge of these painted plastic people and left wanting to give it a go myself! Tbh I was living in dread of visiting but had a brilliant time! The exibition was truly amazing, the dioramas were on point and the final display itself is worth the entry fee alone! The staff were also beyond helpful and even recognised us on our second trip back! I look forward to coming back and enjoying another pint of Bugmans!

User

Having visited the hallowed halls of WHW many times we finally got round to rocking up with a few models to play a couple of rounds. I can’t over state what this meant. The occasion was my Sons 9th birthday and this was his first ever game, but in over 30 years of playing and collecting, this was the first ever game I have played a game that was not in the safe confines of my own home!!! As for the staff, I can’t praise them enough. Downing a pint of bugmans while playing on great tables in such a hallowed place, just an amazing day. Special shout out to the little herald of Nurgle who’s affection for grandapa Nurgle was thoroughly contagious.....

User

Haven’t been since before the revamp but wow! What a change! The new miniatures hall is just a knockout, the God-Emperor would be proud! Staff as always, were friendly and courteous. Always on hand to help, in fact it was their help that convinced a buddy to buy the moon base battle mat.

Plenty of games going on while I was there, and lots of available tables with varied terrain, including some rather imposing Imperial city scapes and a tight, winding, Space Hulk style board which looks like great fun!

We hit Bugmans as well for lunch and a drink, pints were maybe a bit expensive but the food was top notch pub grub!

If you’re a Warhammer or Games Workshop fan, this is your Mecca, the Imperial Palace itself, guarded by Space Marines and an actual Rhino tank.

User

Had a super day gaming here on Sunday. Arrived for a tourney and my knight had broken. The staff were great and while I carried on playing the staff (i think his name was Adam) pinned and repaired it for me. Super friendly and helpful.

User

First trip to warhammer world today, all the way from the Isle Of Wight and wasn't dissapointed. The displays were incredible, the games room looked fantastic, Bugmans food was great (highly recommend the Engineer Burger) and then the shops... incredible range and I could of spent a lot more! Highly recommended to gamers and non-gamers alike. Will definitely be back again!

User

First time at warhammer world. Staff is very friendly and takes their time to explain everything to you despite the language barriers.

They got absolutely everything from forgeworld to black library and even if my wallet cries i can just recommend a visit

User

Brilliant day trip with the family. My little boy loved the Easter egg hunt and it helped me discover previously unseen little details of dioramas I’d gawped at countless times before. Thanks to the lovely couple who helped me find the 30k egg, I’d have had to go round a third time with him if they hadn’t pointed it out to me, very well disguised!

Word of warning to visitors-

We visited yesterday with 4 kids and 2 adults and the car park was full, as was street parking. We drove along Willow street and parked towards the end where construction work is going on. We were not blocking a road, causing an obstruction or impeding the flow of traffic. We had however parked on some yellow lines without realising. Car was towed! Family car, car seats in use and they took the car rather than issue a ticket.

So beware of parking on willow road if you find the car park full!

Good day otherwise. Bugmans was reasonably priced even for a family of 6, and the exhibition was amazing. 2 NNT kids and their understanding sibling spent over 2 hours looking for the assassin - please post on here when it is found warhammer world!!

User

Second trip up with Mrs and only dropped the one star off because my first visit was pre the introduction of the fee for the miniatures display. I’ll be clear, the difference is well worth the introduction of the fee, it was awesome. The extra displays are jaw dropping and kept us amused for easily an hour pointing out awesome things the other had missed.

I’m only dropping the one star off because on my first visit one of the joys was the very exhaustive displays of old models from way back. Seeing models from my first ever white dwarf (138) in person was a proper geekgasm for me. I really enjoyed what display of old stuff there was (the mint “Thrugg Bullneck’s Space Ork Raiders” left me planning an archalogical expedition to recover mine from the arcane recesses of my parent’s loft).

I’m totally understanding that space is limited, but thought I’d speak up that it might factor into any future plans to maybe bring back those old models for a larger area of historical stuff. You’ll no doubt be aware of the vibrant “oldhammer” scene: There’s plenty of old grogs it’d make happy(er) if there was more old stuff along side the awesome existing bits.

It feels that stingy to drop a star over it I will nudge my Mrs to give 5 stars to average out to 4.5. :)

User

I really enjoyed the Black Library Live event in June. it would of easily been 5 if not 6 stars. had it not been for the poor food service, lack of choice and state of Bugmans Bar. Food options were limited, dis-curteous staff and cold food when orders finally arrived. also for the price portion size leaves much to be desired.

User

Always a great day out and the events they run are always decent. Only reason it's not 5 stars is with the events the finishing time for one day, then the security people are very rude in how they go about packing up. Maybe one factor to be considered with events to allow some leeway time on this front.

User

Always a great day out and the events they run are always decent. Only reason it's not 5 stars is with the events the finishing time for one day, then the security people are very rude in how they go about packing up. Maybe one factor to be considered with events to allow some leeway time on this front.

User

brilliant experience there's a lot of models for fans to poor over and the quality of the painting and modelling was exceptional. staff were all very friendly and the food at humans was really nice
