Ganache Cake House - The Shop Description
Situated in the beautiful village of Edwinstowe and just a short walk from Sherwood Forest is Ganache Cake House. At Ganache Cake House cafe we sell a variety of freshly baked cakes specializing in cupcakes and cheesecakes to both eat in or take away. Everything is baked from scratch on site.
We also do freshly prepared light lunches and afternoon teas between the hours of 11. 30am and 3. 30pm daily. No bookings necessary but advised for luxury afternoon teas to ensure all items are avaliable.
The shop
We are a vintage style cake /coffee house which offers both sit in and takeaway options for freshly baked cupcakes, slices of cake and hot /cold drinks. We have a daily changing selection of at least 8 cupcakes on display to mix and match your own take away box to share with family and friends. We also serve cakes and cheesecakes by the slice along side our legendary salted caramel topped chocolate brownie!
Having young families of our own, we feel it is important that young children also enjoy their experience with us. With this in mind we have a children's corner, where they can play with toys or read a book whilst you are enjoying your cake and coffee.
Private parties
you can hire out the shop after hours or on Sunday's for 2 hour time slots for private get togethers. We can seat a maximum of 20 for our afternoon teas. Great for baby showers, hen parties and family get togethers. Inbox for more information. Private hire prices are £14. 50 pp for standard afternoon teas and £18. 50 pp for our luxury afternoon teas. And our children's afternoon teas are £7. 50 (if your party is for children only, the time slot allocated is 1 hour).

Tomorrow is the day the Tour of Britain goes past our cafe. We are offering pulled pork cobs, home made sausage plait and home made quiches as well plus the usual beautiful cakes - all baked on the premises. We look forward to serving you. Kim, Julie, Kirsty and Kerri.

passing Edwinstow this afternoon, June and I called in we had a jacket potato, with prawn mayo salad, Lovely pot of tea followed with a good slice of Kim’s Homemade Maltese Cheese Cake. Very friendly staff, The meal was lovely, highly recommend a visit to Kim and her team and try the fantastic range of home made cup cakes and welcome. ��
What a beautiful afternoon tea me and my mum had today , I’m gluten free and they couldn’t have done more lovely helpful staff, thank you.
We were just passing and called in, pleased we did, we had jacket potato with prawn cocktail and salad it was excellent. Staff very friendly, excellent service, will definitely be going back. Homemade cakes etc were fantastic. Well done to the new owners.
