Our End of Year Art and Design show is open all this week! Please come and have a look, we are very happy to give you, or a group, a tour around the show, please just grab one of the art team! Or if you would like to wander around in peace we promise to leave you alone…
We have Jewellery/Product Design/Photography in the Pod area, Level 3 Art and Design in D212, A Level Graphics D211, Foundation (post A level) Art and Design in D210 where each student individually has a final collection and coursework on display, D209 A Level Art and A Level Fashion Textiles, also more Photography on the street. In each area the sketchbooks are on display, which often form up to 75% of the student grades, and the final outcomes.

This Wednesday - don't miss this beautiful exhibition. For many students this will be the last time that they will show their work at Gateway College before they leave for university, employment or an apprenticeship. For others, this will be their first time!

Gateway sixth form college helped me gain confidence to meet new people and help support me with my work. As imam doing retail there, I am enjoying it. I made new friends. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I love the gym there as well as I enjoy going Monday-Thursday everyday. I am so glad that I chose to go to gateway. Its really good

Gateway college was the best college to go to I was they for 3 years I met new friends they

A superb place to work. I was only supply but the students and the teachers are fantastic. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Business Studies, you really are a super fantastic department.

Was there from 1967-69. Met some wonderful friends and still in touch with a few even though I left Leicester 46 years ago. Also learnt a lot - especially about politics. And still follow Leicester City - aren't they doing well?
