Went Sunday June 10th 2018 which I booked on the phone 3 days earlier but told the gentleman on the phone we had to sit downstairs as one in our party has a walking stick, although he said he was very busy he would try to seat us downstairs ( which they did). The day we were going they rang to confirm our booking. There were 6 of us in our party and we all enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. There was 3 of us celebrating birthdays that day so when the bill came we said do we get any reduction as it's our birthdays ( joking of course ) to our surprise they came with a dessert for the 3 of us to share which we thought was lovely. It's nice they made it that bit special and makes you want to return.Thank you.

We were there today for lunch ,12.30 . 4 adults +2 small people . All i can say is Thank You , food was 1st class , service 1st class . Our Son-in-law asked for bill , was taken aback when a sharing platter of freshly made donouts arrived. My daughter had said it was my birthday plus our wedding anniversary , it was a lovely surprise and greatly apreciated . We will return ere long to enjoy another meal. Thanks again.

We went last night and was meant to be there at 6pm. The traffic was horrendous and we didn’t get there till 6:45. (We we’re at the theatre for 7:30) we asked if food would be out quick as we needed to leave by 7:20 at the latest. The host and the boss who greeted us were very pleasant and accommodating. Seated us quickly, found a waitress to take out order straight away and food came out really quick. We left on time and even had time to spare when we got to the theatre. Just wanted to say we will be back when we have more time to appreciate the food and place more but just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff that dealt with us. I was very hangry when I got there but that soon evaporated when the amazing food came out.

We visited on 27th April for my daughter’s 21st birthday.I requested a beach hut as we wanted privacy if possible as my daughter is autistic.Nothing was too much trouble,they had reserved a beach hut on the end which was the most private area and just perfect as she felt comfortable and relaxed.

We had a fabulous meal,service was so prompt and attentive,the food was faultless,I’m a qualified chef and quite picky! but praise where it’s due,this was excellent and well presented.

Drinks were lovely,cocktails are gorgeous!

We ordered desserts and they brought my daughter a complimentary doughnut ‘happy birthday’ platter which was just lovely and made her day.Thank you to our lovely waitress who was superb,( I’m not sure whether she is Caitlin or Libby as the bill says ‘opened by Libby printed by Caitlin)

Certainly we will be back soon!

We came to George’s today for a 12.30 booking and we were greeted by an accommodating chap who seated us quickly upstairs in the Brighton beach hut which we was really pleased about and told us the we would be served by Matt shortly. Just wanted to thank Matt for his excellent service and really pleasant manner even my 9 year old son said he was a lovely man wasn’t he. Along with the excellent food Matt made our visit a brilliant one. Cheers and hope to see you again soon. Please make sure this is passed on to Matt. �

Visited last night for the first time. I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to expect. However I was blown away. We did not book a table but within 5 minutes we were seated. The service was good, the food was amazing and the cocktails well words cant describe. There is not one thing I can complain about. Give it a go. The scotch egg starter was delicious, the fish and chips were so good I really wanted to eat the lot but couldn’t. So I squeeze in s little pudding.. the fudge fingers wow.. fantastic night so thank you

Visited George’s pre theatre on Saturday early evening after finding out they offer 10% of if you have show tickets. Atmosphere friendly and very welcoming , me and my mum decided to treat ourselves to cocktails and 2 courses of delicious goodness, service was outstanding,food was simply to die for so tasty and fresh.

Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon x

Loved it!! Very friendly staff and service was amazing! I want to try all puddings eventually lol ( I had apple and caramac and chocolate orange!!!) thank you again I did enjoy experience tonight. You guys have a good weekend we’ll be back soon!

I won a competition to go to em con and eat at George’s! And it as the 3rd best day of my life! � not only Was em con a dream come true but the food was out of this world! I asked the friendly staff for there recommendation and also had a cocktail and I was most definitely not disappointed! Thank you so much

Great food, great service, great staff. Took into account our special requirements for one member of our group. This place is just lovely. Knocks spots of other franchise chains like Jamie Oliver’s who really need to up their game to compare with George’s. Will definitely visit again. �

Came in last night for a birthday treat , it was very busy , we had booked and were promptly seated , we had some lovely cocktails they do special offers on them before 8pm. I had the traditional cod , my son had the chicken in a basket and my daughter in law had the fish in onion bhaji batter , everything was spot on , hot and delicious, we had hot doughnuts after with dipping sauces . Service was good and although busy the waitresses were smily and attentive , would recommend and would love to go back

Came here for the first time after watching the Jersey Boys at the Royal Concert Hall. Could of ate at numerous other places, but so glad we chose here. The venue, atmosphere, food and staff were amazing, highly recommend it 😍, oh, and lovely toilets too 😜

Amazing place. Love the setup, especially the beach cabin upstairs. The waitresses are very attentive and service is great. Food is great and the dessert is divine. A bit noisy at times due to the crowd. ���

This is the second time we have visited. The first time, we absolutely loved it and we were eager to come back. However, this time was a little disappointing. The food standard and presentation seemed to have slipped a little. I ordered the Stilton chips, which came without it and had to be sent back, but then returned with the tiniest amount of Stilton you could imagine. I ordered my burger 'naked', but it was presented really poorly just dumped in a basket and was unfortunately dry. My husband was also given normal chips rather than triple cooked as stated. Service was good but we just felt a little let down.

Sadly for me it was average, the food wasn’t presented like it was in the menu, disappointing as I was really looking forward to it going by all the great reviews. Although the guy who seated us was really nice and friendly.

It took 45 minutes to get our main meals, there was a hair in my chips which were sent back, the bacon in the chicken in a basket was undercooked, the staff member that served us seemed as though they really couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want to be there. Such a shame really as we were looking forward to it.

My girlfriend booked 2 months in advance requesting a beach hut and we got seated by the door in a draft and at a table that wasn't even ready for us!! Massively disappointed although our waitress Faye really tried her hardest to make it a good experience, we were cold, sat in coats throughout dinner and with people coming in getting a little bit too close whilst we were eating. If we hadn't built it up to my parents and 5 year old son we would have left. The food was OK, a little bit on the cold side (although that could have been as a result of the table we were sat at!), the puddings were incredible and made a little boy a bit happier. Mixed opinion as the 1st time was amazing, I'm just not sure I'd recommend it or go back based on this experience.

Staff were totally amazing and could not have asked for more helpful, friendly and funny people. The food wasn’t good though sadly � really bland, half over cooked, half over cooked, really great chips but that’s about it � I’d heard so many people say how great it was there but I wont be coming back.
