Visiting Lincoln on a work trip and stumbled upon this great shop. Fantastic service from Ash and Jack who ordered me the size in something (can't say as it's a birthday gift for my husband) as they didn't have it, then sent the item to home in London, no charge for the postage, item arrived today. Better service than Amazon because I was able to check out the item first rather than looking at pictures online then possibly being disappointed when it arrived, with the inevitable return. Nice to see a successful independent store that has been around 26 years!

Took my son in today to get a suit and it was absolutely stress free ,they are helpful ,courteous and I'm very thankful for their help ..definitely will go there again

I went in to find a pair of trousers for a summer wedding or two and came out with a full three piece Gibson London Donegal tweed suit! I've been shopping at Gere for many years now and even though I no longer live in Lincoln, it's always the first place I go to find something a little bit special. Great service, amazing clothes, fantastic background music! It's these things that make me return time after time. Thanks for all your help Rich!

I shop at Gere, almost exclusively, for two reason. The clothes are excellent and tend to have the permanence of style rather than the fleeting appeal of fashion; you can pick what appeals (which is usually far more than you wanted to buy) and know you're unlikely to see every tom, dick and harry wearing it. But the best bit about Gere Menswear is the staff, because I am always made to feel welcome, the team do everything in their power to select clothes that will suit you and fit you, and on a couple of occasions have gone beyond the call of duty to help me out with a sartorial nightmare. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

I have just returned from what was a thoroughly pleasant experience at Gere menswear. I usually don't enjoy the whole shopping 'experience' and given the choice would do all of my clothes shopping online. However today I was in the market for a formal jacket and I really wanted to try them for fit before buying which you just can't do online. I was attracted to Gere by the window display but I found exactly what I wanted; the staff couldn't have been more helpful (including retrieving items from the window display when they were the only ones left in my size) and offering a discount on the marked price. I left with exactly what I came in for And I will definitely be returning. Thanks for a very positive experience!

Great service kitting out my hubby to be yesterday, who detests shopping and clothes that are not worn in & baggy. We walked out of the shop with his complete wedding attire & a smile still on his face!!

Every time we have been here we have had a fantastic welcome and a good laugh. All the staff have been amazing, professional and at no point do they pressure you into any sale. The clothes we have bought from here have made me feel a million dollars and has improved my confidence ten fold. I would highly recommend Gere to my family, friends and colleagues.

Came to Gere after being disappointing with the selection and quality of the suit shops around Lincoln, including the newly opened Moss Bro. Was instantly greeted even though the shop was busy and attended too quickly. Was impressed with the selection and quality and the after sales service they provided me has gained them a loyal customer for life. Very impressed!

Been past this shop several times and loved the window dressing. Always stop and admire. I bit the bullet today and went in and was greeted by very polite and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for me. Hadn't got my size in stock of the particular outfit I was interested in but could get it very quickly. Haven't ordered it yet but think il be going to order in the next few days.
